Possibly all gone by now, but David Wilson left 30 pair of shoes outside MetLife stadium in sz 10 to giveaway . Nice gesture but I can totally see people fighting over em

The lulz on Wilson y'all forget where this guy was drafted at, the kid nice. You talking about tape CP what about the others RG3 Luck and all that goes for all of em though. Russell does have a strong arm I wished more of the hawks gms was natl televised they will this yr tho

I've been watchin him the last hour on YouTube, I can't count how many scramble back 15 yards and throw I saw.

After that I saw a dozen throws to guys open by 8 yards.

I saw less than 5, in the pocket, released on time, cross field throws, to a spot. Things Brees excels at.

I saw a creative *** dude. Fun to watch. But stand in the pocket and go? Not yet. I know he can do it on occasion. I know he'll improve. But saying he's at or above Luck is crazy to me. *shrugs*

totally different offensive schemes as well from Brees & Wilson as well. What does the offense ask of him or require if him to do?

Brees is tasked w/ being the guy. Luck as well.

personally , in the pocket , out the pocket dobt care. I care abt actual completions

Wilson is not Drew Brees at this current date so let's not get into crazy comparisons. He is a very strong pocket thrower, however.

When that athletic ability slows and he's relegated to the pocket, will he prosper?

Besides all the other stuff, do you have Wilson above Luck as a QB? Now, going forward, whatever.

I don't see him as a player that relies solely on making crazy athletic plays , so I don't see it being an issue.

I have Luck & Wilson on the same tier as players

Fair enough. Look forward to watchin them, Kap and RGIII blossom more this season. I'm sure this topic will pollute each and every WIR thread. :pimp:

I wanna see every last one of them dudes get their heads knocked off...

I can't lie...I have a confession

I root for cam newton to play well and be better than those guys...can't help it...I like seeing guys from Atlanta do well  u do hate his guts when he plays Atlanta tho, he still needs to get over being a mental ******

i think its too early to have a long term grasp on luck, rg3, kaep, and wilson. they all had great years. i think by year 3 one will have a better idea. newton is entering year 3. it will be interesting to see if he can regroup from his last season.
broncos are winning the superbowl this year.

Are there any NON Seattle fans claiming Russell Wilson is a better QB than Andrew Luck? Can I get a show of hands please?

NON Seattle fans.

also nothing would have changed in seeding if we lost to GB

Ok, that's fair then, I was asking to be sure.

Not over here.

fun to watch though.

The league is in good hands with Luck, RGIII, Kaep, Ponder, and Wilson. :pimp:

Jk.

The NFL certainty hit another Golden era for QBs in the 2000s and it looks like another is coming. Pretty soon you could see more QBs that could win a title than couldn't. Then again, I wonder how much is attributed to the push towards offense and QBs are allowed to thrive instead of only the best of the best like it used to be

Its crazy to me that Kaepernick is viewed as a young quarterback when he's older than Matt Stafford.

Well I guess I should say its crazy to me that people don't realize Stafford is the same age as these great "young" quarterbacks

I agree. New wave would be more apt. It's the style of play I think that gives some these guys the tags of "young" quarterbacks.

No, you're right, Matthew Stafford is a good young QB. I wouldn't say he's a "great" young QB though.
