I see how acting a fool disrupts good discussions

in fairness to them, i think they feel that way because you beat the 13-6, and they beat the living **** out of you, 42-13 :x
defenses are going to do what the ravens did to the 9ers in the bowl. every time they run read option, go after the QB. yes, you'll give up some big plays here and there, but you get a free shot at the QB every time and that's valuable.

Harbaugh's playbook isn't based on read-option.

i don't recall saying it was. i was responding to someone saying that the read option was going to phase out because it's a "gimmick offense". my response was simply that defenses are just going to defend the read option by hitting the quarterback every single time. Even if they give up big plays here and there, at some point offenses aren't going to want their QBs taking that many hits in a game.

What's the deal w/ Terrelle Pryor? I would have thought he'd be starting by now....especially w/ the success of the read option around the league.

He's like 3rd/4th in the QB competition here. Coaches aren't sold on him still.
