What's the deal w/ Terrelle Pryor? I would have thought he'd be starting by now....especially w/ the success of the read option around the league.

He's like 3rd/4th in the QB competition here. Coaches aren't sold on him still.

matt flynn is starting in oakland.
I don't want to talk about it

Buccaneers traded CB Eric Wright to 49ers for a 2014 late-round conditional pick, per ESPN's Josina Anderson.

Last thing I wanted was anyone in the secondary getting hurt or traded. To the niners at that, I hope Banks is the real deal and Johnson steps up.

They just had to strengthen one of 49ers few weakness

Also saw in another forum that Carlos rodgers  may be cut during training camp.

Im honestly happy to see Eric Wright join the team... Its going to brutal out there during camp, but yea Rodgers will probably get cut... He's owed $8 mil

The Bucs trade of Wright comes a week after his arrest in L.A. July 12 at 9:15 p.m. on a misdemeanor. He posted $5,000 bond.

Figured he did something, dude was on a short leash with Schiano. I just wished he waited for a team to have an injured corner so they can could've got more value than a late round pick.

Eric Wright is one of those athletes that will never stay out of trouble off the field. From college to pros, same story.

I'm shocked we traded Wright. He was subpar to say the least last season and highly overpaid but he took a huge paycut to come back to the Bucs for a 1 year nonguaranteed contract if I'm not mistaken. He was the only other vet in our secondary besides Revis and Goldson.

But Wright might have been our 4th corner pretty soon behind Revis, LJ and Banks...and he can't seem to stay outta trouble off the field. It's one thing after another with that guy, and he's not talented enough to be worth the trouble. Second DUI in the past year (last one was a felony), got suspended for adderall for like 4 games and was injured every other game. He's from the Bay Area, not sure if that's a good idea to bring a guy with off the field problems back home, but I guess it's worth a shot for the Niners. Watch him actually look good on that stacked defense.

Eric Wright doesn't strengthen any team. He is terrible. I said it last year when he signed with the bucks. Dudes in here just want to get excited about something which is understandable. But this guy is buns. When he played for Detroit he was probably one of the worst starting CB's in the league.
