How good are his hands?

He had a problem in 2007 and the first half of 2008 with his hands, constantly dropping balls. With Favre in 2009 his red zone opportunites/TDs spiked and I think his confidence did too, which led to less drops.

He's a good pass catcher, but in '11 PFF had him as one of the worst run blocking TEs

He's 33 but a young one at that. One of my favorite players in the past 4 years for the Vikes because it literally ruined his day when we lost, you could just tell in his voice inflection. Not to mention, he was giddy when Favre came and said he "felt like a kid in a candy store" so he clearly cares about what he's doing which is something some fans take issue with if it's the opposite.

Hardware asside, the NFC Beast as it's been called... hasn't had a division champion over 10-6 since 2009.

That's a hell of a run.

If y'all do that for two more years you tie the NFC West's run of that same stat from 2006-2010.

I honestly don't see that changing for a minute.

Yep ever since 2004 a different team has won. I feel good about the Giants, because for once I like their Schedule more than the rest of the Division.

Feel the same way, won 9 games with a tough schedule and w/o Nicks most of the season and a non existent pass rush. They just weren't good enough all around to win those tough games down the stretch,

They can't blow divisional games by 1 point though like they did vs the Skins, it's division or bust since no wild cards will come from that division.

Just a matter of being healthy at the right time as is always the case.

And so now, with the Titans and Chance Warmack reaching agreement, all of this year's 1st-rd picks are under contract.

quarterback Terrelle Pryor has played quarterback since at least high school, probably back to Pop Warner, and through all that time he says nobody taught him how to throw a football.

With the news that Michael Vick was never taught how to properly carry  a football and now Pryor's claim, it's fair to ask how many coaches at all levels are ignoring fundamentals.

Like Vick, Pryor is tremendously talented. He was famously the top football recruit in the nation coming out of high school, and one of the best basketball recruits too. He went to Ohio State, whose fans probably aren't too surprised to learn that Pryor never knew how to properly throw a football.

He told the Bay Area News Group that he worked with former major-league pitcher Tom House (he's a throwing guru who has worked with Tom Brady) on fundamentals, and is working with offensive coordinator Greg Olson John DeFilippo to continue to learn to be a passer.
"I never really knew how to throw a football before," Pryor said, according to Bay Area News Group. "It's coming along. I'm getting way better. I probably missed four or five throws out of 80, 85 throws today. I might ice my arm as a precaution tonight, but it feels great.

"They've got me going in the right direction to be a pretty good quarterback who knows how to throw the ball."
Yeah, that's kind of a prerequisite for the job.

It's remarkable Pryor made the NFL despite his claim that he was never taught proper throwing fundamentals. It says a lot about his natural talent. He has always been known as a tremendous athlete, but never seemed to reach his full potential with Ohio State and was far too raw to get a legitimate shot in Oakland last season. Now we have an idea why.

Pryor is the darkhorse in the quarterback race at Oakland. Now that he finally knows how to throw a football, that might help him in the competition.
