I hope Jones has a good year for you guys Deadset. :smokin

word, man. if he can stay healthy it should be a good year for him. he was solid last year until that ankle injury slowed him down. didn't hear from him at all after that

Eagles have a solid half in the pre-season which contains your average red zone Turnover and dudes wanna start thinking they're in the playoff hunt :smh:

Seen Vick still channeling his inner Willie Beamen, my guy is going to die out there :smh:
Slide son, Slide!

If the Eagles D can be average than I think we can make a playoff run

Just curious as to why....are you basing this off of pre-season? I didn't watch the game, but let me ask you....do you think the Eagles are showing TOO much out of CK's playbook? Preseason is usually a time when offenses go vanilla. I remember a lot of Skins fans were hyped off of Spurrier's success (ran the table) during the preseason of his 1st season. We all know how that turned out.

No shots, really. I'm legit interested as to your reasons as to why you are confident in a playoff run out of the Eagles.

My guess is because Philly is loaded with talent. There's no reason why they shouldn't be competitive in every single game. Preseason means ****, but maybe if Kelly really has simplified things while bring up the tempo, then they could be pretty efficient. Efficiency + talent almost always equals production.

I think offense is gonna be operated around the run game and clock control

Shady, Bryce Brown, Chris Polk all look great and they may even keep Felix Jones so I think the offense will put up a lot of points

The D is what scares me but I think a lot of these young guys have potential such as Logan, Curry, Kendricks, Wolff, Cox and Boykin, etc

I'm not confident in a playoff run just more glass half full optimism

Fair enough....As you said, the defense is going to be the major question mark. They have a ton of weapons, and as 651 alluded to, they should be competitive every week.

I'm curious to see how Vick's decision making will be once the regular season starts.

I got yall pegged at 7-9.

I'm pessimistic about the Eagles this season. 8-8 most likely. Our defense is transitioning. Question marks at receiver and QB.

I don't think so....schedules are brutal, and I think we'll have a 9-7 division winner.

yeah it's tough cause y'all just beat up on each other most of the time too. giants probably the only team i could see hitting 10 wins. would love to see what happens if romo and company do it though. this board will be on fire

chandler jones has been wrecking havoc in the off season , if he could take that next leap this

year i would be confident going to war with anyone...vince really only has 1-2 elite years

in the tank so i hope all the young guys on this team really dig deep and take the next step

No Steelers?

The Texans in the top 5?

No shots, I'm just surprised. I'm also surprised the Packers ain't higher.

y'all NFC east fans have anyone winning 10 games in that division?

Nope.

Hopefully the Giants only win 9 or 10 games. That's when we are at our best. :pimp:

Giants and the ******** are the only teams that matter in the East to me. The Cowboys will be find way to **** it up and I don't trust the Eagles either.

Vick is the ultimate wild card but I think Chip gets not to drop him back 40 times a game which Andy couldn't seem to grasp
