May as well make a push even though their team is a completed project. This also isn't a move just for this year. The core of this offense is just about set for the next 5 years now. Find a few lineman and maybe another WR and they're good on that side.
luck, allen, fleener, hilton, ballard brazill and now richardson. all those dudes are locked up on rookie contracts
whether this move pushes them forward this year or not, they've solidified their skill positions. with money to spend in FA, then can spend on their other weaknesses and draft to fill holes as needed.
it's amazing what you can do as a franchise when you make good picks that can become productive players.
