Not surprised at the Steelers performance yesterday. I saw this coming in the preseason. Same problems from last year carry over to this year. Five season ending injuries already :smh:

Decastro is an idiot. Still can't run the ball. :smh:

I'll be surprised if the Steelers are above .500 this year

Smh I hate to see it too. Since I went to Pitt I'm like 1/32 a steelers fan  and Tomlin is my dude. They'll be back though steelers are an admirable franchise

he's had 2700 yards in 2 seaons with the bears...and last year was his best season statistically. 1500 yards 11 TDs.

you were saying?

I'm really just trolling re: Dez, but I don't know how you can leave Marshall out. Guy has been fantastic as the ONLy receiving option for the bears. Seriously, Cutler just throws it up there and hopes for a bailout half the the time.

AJ>>>>>>these other new guys, though.

Suh is SO dirty. That shot at that guys knees was so uncalled for.

Don't know why he does that. He's got potential, but could be cut short if he doesn't change his mental approach to the game.

AFC East thoughts after Week 1

1. my Patriots were disappointing on offense yesterday . i knew there would be some growing pains , but guys like Ridley should know better . there were some highlights , particularly in the receiving core with Edelman and Amendola . if that boy Amendola can stay healthy and continues this kind of play he is definitely an upgrade

2. yesterday should give Bills fans hope . Manuel looked very good , and the defense did a decent job considering they are missing two potential pro-bowlers in their secondary due to injury

3. the Dolphins look sloppy on offense ; it appears the $$$ they spent on Wallace isn't going to pay dividends . O-Line wasn't helping Tannehill out at all

4. Jets are lucky to walk away with the W yesterday , sloppy game overall for both them and the Bucs

Decent AFC review you posted, but Amendola is not an upgrade over Welker. Even if he doesn't get hurt anymore (high chance that he will), a groin injury is one of those lingering injuries that he will always have to deal with if it is that serious this season.

My Bucs :smh:
13 penalties, no lanes for Martin, Freeman looking like he knows his time is up, V-Jax not having afterburners on that big catch in the 4th

But Gholston head hunting out there and Revis Island looking good :smokin

I thought we would have to worry about the defense coming together and playing well before the offense this season. It is only week 1, so it should definitely pickup....hopefully :rolleyes

Here we go, just make **** up or use unquantifiable cliche fan criticisms that can be applied to any team to dislike. Last time Cowboy fans were serious talking SB was 09. Since then every Cowboy fan would just predict 8-8, 9-7.

Dudes say there is no hate knowing if the Cowboys had lost how the Giants did there'd be endless gifs/memes/smilies. You guys, man.

Co-sign. I just sit back and laugh at these ******** *** statements  .

What I also love is the fact Cowboys fans are considered bandwagon fans. I was always under the assumption that a 'bandwagon fan' was someone who would hop on the team that was in the process of or winning or has won (and wins quite often) in recent years i.e. the Miami Heat. The Cowboys have not won a SB since 1996. So from 1996 until now, 17 years has passed which means there was no 'bandwagon' to hop on within that time frame. Yet, we still clearly have a huge fanbase (while also having the large amount of haters). Dudes on NT will claim they don't hate the Cowboys, which is fine, but that's not what goes on outside these forums (and honestly, when the Cowboys lose, gifs, pics, memes, galore are posted within seconds and servers are always slower on here). I predicted 11-5 based on the schedule, so NT considers me unrealistic/homer/delusional etc. But as long as you're a Cowboys fan who predicts losing seasons every year, you're cool in their book. Fortunately, I could care less about getting acceptance from people on the internet so I enjoy taking what they dish out :smokin

Oh yeah, and Shoes gets under your (NT) skin every year and its hilarious

Pittsburgh fans :nerd:

Well give you a signed JJ Watt jersey for Big Ben :nerd: depending on how this season pans out :nerd:

Smh y'all gotta get your comprehension up. I said the bandwagon fans in Philly and DC who ONLY tout their rings in the past and looooove to go on about history and America's team blah blah blah. Have no connection at all and ONLY picked the team to be contrarians.

Fact is the team has been poorly run and has frankly been poor for the last 15 yrs. It's those people who make the other NFC east fans laugh and mock your squad so blame them, not us. I just wait for another Romo snafu

I think he's talking about how the Cowboys have alot of "casual fans" who don't really know much about football but when the team Wins, they act like they have been Die-hards since day one.

My post wasn't directed at you, it was a general statement made through observing this board for several years.

Although, I'll still never understand the "You don't live in (insert city) so you shouldn't be rooting for (insert team) rule."

Steelers have plenty of jerseys from HOF/legendary players on D. I don't think a Watt one will impress this franchise. Now your first two picks? Sure

 ah ok gotcha but yeah I did mean the casual fans who hide when Dallas has a bad game or season but will be the loudest when they do anything positive. Real cowboys fans I have no beef with other than clear difference of opinion  most of the people I've seen are older, some are my relatives and they definitely flipped to Dallas in the mid 90s or late 80s. And when I say they are frauds, they say ' 5 rings!!!!, Americas team!!!' It's annoying as I know the ONLY reason they picked Dallas was because of their past success during the time they changed up

And I just believe in that rule personally I'm 4 for 4 with Philly. Even when our teams suck (sixers) I'm still riding with them. I just feel like people who pick a team that is in direct rivalries with their home team do it just to be contrarian or difficult. Like unless you have a personal vendetta against your team, just roll with your local squads it gives you more pride and a connection when they win and bring shine to your city/state. I realize it's a weird stance but I just hold to it  unless you live in an area with no team.

I definitely respect some Cowboy fans for the amount of crap they take and how relentlessly optimistic they are...  Though it does get a little extreme at times.

Big Ben with the Texans may win the SB.

I doubt the Steelers would even do that trade regardless.
