I'd have no problem with it if dude was actually getting in these recievers faces, telling them what they need to do better, and what they did wrong. But this dude was literally throwing B#*$& fits after every mistake. Like, how is that going to help in any way?

Except that coach dungy has a SB (should have 2) amd never needed to get in anyone's face. And once again my point isn't that tom needs to change. It's yall

5 Superbowl appearances, 3 Superbowl wins, 330 touchdowns and 45000 yards and people are blaming it on Tom and not the UDFA #4 quality receivers  stop.

Those receivers were straight garbage last night. I turned to the game for a couple of minutes a few times and I swear every single time one of those receivers were dropping a pass. And if they can't handle being yelled at they can get out of the league. Elementary school athletes get yelled at.

And honestly I haven't heard any of the guys last night complaining about Tom getting in their face.

i don't recall seeing him in front a mic saying, "man donald blew that game" or "our idiot kicker missed a fg".

It's funny you bring up the idiot kicker thing... you know why Peyton said that? It was in response to Vanderjagt saying this:

.

i totally forgot that was peyton, i swear. but now that you mention it, i remember it perfectly

i was thinking it was marino or elway that said that, i dunno why :smh:

Exactly

that's BEYOND exagerrated. he had ONE meltdown last night. everything else was him signaling at his WR which way to go or sighing. people saw that ONE replay over and over again and assume it was after every drop or mistake. it wasn't.

Man Brady does that **** all the time.

Yea it was once last night. But that's not close to being the first time I've seen Brady act like that.

But it doesn't matter because they one. If they don't get it together they could be in trouble tho... Good thing they are in that trash division.

Translation: I know this analogy sucks and doesn't apply but I'm just going to say it anyways.

You really think berating your teammates helps you win? Oh dude has rings so it must be working.

Great rationale.

synonyms for berate: scold, rebuke, reprimand, reproach, reprove, admonish, chide, criticize

Every coach in the history of history has yelled at players on the field.  Why do you think Brady doing it is so damaging?

LACES OUT MARINOOOOOOO!!!!

So when Brady goes and makes a mistake, who's going to go on the sideline and throw a tirade?

Or is he immune to that because of the rings he's won? Oh and Tommy boy has a history of getting into it with coaches on the sideline. Maybe he can dish it but can't take it? I don't know. It doesn't matter.

It's just not a good look. He is not the coach. He is a teammate, regardless of his previous accomplishments. Go let the coach scold him. I just didn't find it necessary.

"I think I have to do a better job with my body language," a stone-faced Brady conceded after the game. "I definitely can improve that. I wouldn't say it's a real strong point of mine right now."

Did anyone read the Kerry Rhodes Deadspin article?   Don't know if I'm late to this:  http://deadspin.com/is-the-nfl-blac...source=deadspin_twitter&utm_medium=socialflow

Personally I have to agree with the writer of the article.  This is not a Jason Collins situation.  Kerry Rhodes was great for the Jets, great last year for the Cardinals and there are so many teams out there (Cowboys) desperate for safety help.  It just doesn't make sense...

Free agent safety Kerry Rhodes was more or less outed by Media Takeout  during the offseason (the pictures that MTO posted of him with another man appear to have been scrubbed from the site). He still hasn't found a job. This is ****** up, because Kerry Rhodes is good. In fact, by many metrics, he's very  good.

Rhodes picked off four passes last season (two of them came against the Jets, but still!) and was part of the fifth-best pass defense in the NFL. Pro Football Focus  had him ranked as the fourth-best safety in all of football  in 2012. Apart from the retired Ronde Barber, Rhodes is the only player in PFF's top 30 safeties from 2012 that doesn't currently have a job.

Look at his career stats and you will see that there was no obvious drop-off in the quality of Rhodes's play in 2012 compared to the seven previous  seasons. He's been serviceable at worst and Pro Bowl-caliber at best. Nothing about him has changed except for the fact that someone put up a picture of him with his arm  around a dude. Rhodes has vehemently denied  the gay rumors, and yet the mere suspicion  of his gayness seems to have been enough to make him unemployable.

If you watched any of the games from Week 1, you know that there are roughly 50 teams that could use improved safety play. According to Mike Florio, four teams tried out defensive backs this week: the Bucs, Colts, Dolphins and Seahawks. None of them brought in Rhodes. The second David Wilson put two balls on the ground against the Cowboys, Tom Coughlin was sprinting to the waiver wire to find any running back with 10 fingers and a working spinal cord (he grabbed Brandon Jacobs, which indicates that he failed in that task). Why a team like the Ravens—who were DESTROYED by Julius Thomas and the rest of the Denver passing offense—wouldn't do the same thing and at least kick the tires on Rhodes is baffling. Florio told me this in an email:
From league source who requested anonymity: "There's no buzz about Kerry Rhodes." Also, from what I am hearing, I can't disagree with the possibility Rhodes is being blackballed. You can quote me on all of this

All I will say is that when you have the track record of someone like Brady, it really does give you more leniency when it comes to screaming at your teammates. Someone like Cutler does it and he's labeled a bad leader, but it's all relative. That's just how it is.

Your foolish to think Brady isn't considered a coach. :smh:

this. belichick has ALWAYS said that 12 is like a coach on the field. the same is true with peyton.

i do hope he turns it down a bit. not cause i feel like it's wrong, but people focus on it too much and create this huge circus about it.

It wasn't every play. I stretched with that, i'll admit. He still OD'd, and still shouldn't be given a pass for blowing up like that, regardless of his accomplishments. You KNOW those WR's are inexperienced. And you KNOW how complex the offense you're running is. Give them a break. No excuses for the drops, i'll give you that. But the bad routes, and confusion? That's inexperience, and unfamiliarity.

regardless of your thoughts on whether or not he crossed the line , he apologized in his presser and said he needs to improve . time to end the discussion , its getting tired

What's his history? Yelling at Bill O'Brien? What else was there?

I'm sorry, but if you can't understand why guys like Brady, Manning, etc. are considered extensions of the coaches, then I don't know what to tell you.

You have captains in every sport who do the same thing as Brady. They give their best and expect the same from their teammates. Mental errors and drops aren't going to cut it.

*edit*

don't know how to quote in edits w/ SN's, but I agree w/ what DSA has been posting.
