I respect Sherman's game but I can't seem to let go when roddy burnt him in the playoffs last yr let alone Julio

Every Corner is gonna get burnt, comes with the territory. I think a lot of his talking is pointless but he's the best in the game right now.

Dude didn't get burnt on the play though. He was supposed to have a safety covering up top but Cam was no where to be found.

That feeling has to hurt when a corner sees Moss put his hand while running and not looking back

Any one on here that's watched the Dolphins? What are they looking like? Had them as one of my sleepers this year. Really like what they're building down in Miami.

CP can provide you with a book on this. i know high on their list is a play making TE. can never have enough help on the interior DL either. offensive line is probably a need in miami as well. and then playmakers at RB and WR. that's what i recall him writing about.

Solid start but TONS to improve on.

Oline is our weakness which will catch up to us eventually. But Tannehill has progressed getting the ball out quicker which has helped.

Not enough depth behind Miller yet, Gillislee isn't ready yet (and may never be) and Daniel Thomas is a vagina with a helmet on.

Defense is SERIOUS tho. DLine might be the best once Jordan figures his skills out.
Secondary is ok, but 2nd and 3rd round picks on the way as reinforcements soon. If they work out, huge help, if they flop, there's a new hole to worry about.

Overall, maybe a 9 win team. Team is young, with another 22-23 million in cap space next year.

Address OL, extra playmaker, a seam TE (Jace Amaro please) and any depth we can find on D we could step up nice in 2014. Provided Tannehill continues to improve, even slowly, team is young enough to be patient. Quicker he improves, quicker we have a chance to be in the AFC mix.

I guess a Vikings fan sent a letter to Barack Obama petitioning to get Christian Ponder removed as the Vikings starting quarterback by executive order.

1000

It has to get 100,000 signatures to even be reviewed by The White House....

Man your Buggin if you think the ravens called anyone but the 9ers.

Some team would've given a 3rd / 4th for him.

I highly doubt a 6th over was the best they could get  :smh:

I'm trying to figure out who is actually HAPPY with Haley on the Steelers. Franchise QB hates him and is handcuffed by him. Top WR hates him because AB never gets the ball (see previous sentence). I'm assuming all of the oline hates him since he tries to make them run block and they are not capable of doing that. When Heath comes back he will hate him since Heath is a reasonable man. Tomlin doesn't sound happy with the 17 offensive points in 2 games. You know all of the D and LeBeau hate him because of 8 punts a game. So besides Jerricho Cotchery because he is the focus of this offense, who likes him? Is he dating a Rooney daughter or something?

These San Fran fans

Unsportsmanlike conduct in Seattle
Was anyone else appalled by the unsportsmanlike conduct of the Seattle Seahawks and their fans, juiced on noise, which surely creates as big an advantage over an opponent as any performance enhancing drug and which, to their shame, NFL officials turn the same blind eye they have to concussions and drugs ("Seattle states case loudly, clearly in rout," Sports, Sept. 16)?

It would be simple to fix. Seahawks players and managers would ask their fans to cease and desist, and the NFL would implement a new rule: The visiting team may stop the game when fan noise is greater than a specified decibel level, and should this rule be violated in more than three games, no home games will be played at the offending field for the rest of the season, including playoff games. Things would quiet down.

At a time when the world seems sour, sports give us a place of joy, community and hope, and to have it spoiled is a bigger loss than it seems on the surface.

All true about Haley, but it's not all his fault. There is a serious talent deficit on offense with the O-line issues, with no rb, with no good WRs... It's really just Ben out there.

Too bad David Stern isn't the NFL commissioner...he would have vetoed that Boldin trade to the Niners in less than a second.

Goodell doesn't give a **** about trades. He just wants to keep fining any random player that grazes somebody's helmet so he doesn't get sued by people complaining about him not doing anything for concussion safety.

@AdamSchefter: NFL overturned one-game suspension of Bucs S Dashon Goldson, who now will play allowed to play Sunday vs. New England. [emoji]128588[/emoji] [emoji]128588[/emoji]

I'm not saying Pitt would be good with a different coordinator, they wouldn't. But to hire and keep a guy that has a philosophy opposite of how the franchise QB plays just baffles me...unless plans for him to leave are in the works

DMX...i remember hearing the in general, Pitt doesn't heavily game plan for each individual opponent. this was a few years back. did you ever hear that? i thought it was odd. not sure if it's still true now, if it was ever true to begin with.
