Just want to gush over what the Bengals have done lately in the Draft.

Dalton, Green, Geo, Eifert, Sanu, Gresham, just so much awesome. Love that side of the ball for them.

Saw a mock yesterday that mentioned them goin out and getting Maqise Lee, similar to Julio/Roddy and I damn near kicked a hole in my computer. That ******** better not happen. I'm not tryna see that kind of filth in the AFC. :smh:

If Carolina doesn't get Sammy Watkins or Marquise Lee, they need to simply fold the franchise.

Great E:60 piece on AJ Green:
Just came here to post that!

Drafting at the top of the draft always has its benefits but given how the NFL salary cap is constructed its hard to keep deep cores intact. Especially when it's time to pay your quarterback, if he indeed is the franchise guy.

Teams like Cincinnati, Seattle & San Francisco will have to address those issues in the future.

Good thing for Bengals is they wont have to pay Dalton much that also means he's not that great.

But they will have to pay AJ Green

Good point & locking up key guys long term usually costs a team in a position where they may be deep in.

The texans would know because its been a trickle down effect ever since they've become a playoff team.

i don't see why MM8 comes out after this year. he doesn't lose anything staying another year. probably helps his draft stock too.

He could definitely work on his mechanics, but as a mobile qb the faster you can get to the NFL the better.

Best case scenario for him is for Chip to grab him.

I have Sammy to Carolina in pen.

Ink is dry too.

where you got evans?

and who you got higher mariota or hundley?

I have Baltimore, New Orleans, and New England as teams that could take WR's late in RD 1. With Sammy to Carolina, and Lee to Cleveland.

So Evans could go to one of the first 3 I mentioned, or slip into round 2 maybe.

San Diego would also be a fit, depending on where they draft from.

I have Mariota, but only because I have not seen a lot of Hundley yet. Both could stay another year, both could come out, my guess is Mariota comes out, and Hundley stays a year longer.

I have Mariota to the Rams as of right now. Mid round 1.

In speaking about the Bengals offensive core, the Rams with Mariota, Seastrunk (skins pick), Richardson, Givens, Austin, Cook, Bailey, is quite simply, hard on worthy. That's stoooooopid young, fast, talented, and on turf. Filth. Lots of it.

Looks like it's R.I.P. to throwback unis in the NFL.
NFL safety committees told teams not to wear throwback helmets
The news that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won’t wear their Bucco Bruce throwback helmets comes a month after two NFL safety committees concluded that throwback helmets are a bad idea.

The league office passed along to PFT a memo that was sent to the clubs in August, saying that when throwback uniforms are worn, helmets should not be changed.

“Our Head, Neck, and Spine Committee, chaired by Drs. Hunt Batjer and Richard Ellenbogen, and the Player Safety Advisory Panel, chaired by John Madden and Ronnie Lott, have recommended that players no longer wear different helmets as part of a ‘Throwback’ or ‘Third’ uniform,” the memo from the league office said. “Our office supports this change and has reviewed it with the chairman of our Health and Safety ownership committee, Dr. John York, who concurs with this recommendation.”

The league office told all teams planning to wear throwback uniforms this season that players must wear their regular helmets on throwback dates. The outside of the helmet can be modified by removing or replacing decals, but the helmet itself must stay the same. Once players have properly fitted helmets that they’re comfortable wearing, the NFL doesn’t want them changing helmets during the season just for appearances.

We’re told that some teams aren’t yet sure whether to go ahead with plans to wear throwback uniforms. The Cowboys, for instance, planned to wear their throwbacks with white helmets on Thanksgiving, and it’s not yet known whether they will blend throwback jerseys with regular helmets, or just scrap the throwback uniforms entirely.

The jets have actually set themselves up to have an all offensive draft, by next year their front seven could be top 5, they can add secondary help through free agency

But knowing Jets they'll draft a corner in the first round.

No Fun League. Players can't find throwback helmets that fit them the same? Get out of here.
