A little scared? Hell I'm a lot scared

The amount of playmakers the Colts have got in two years is probably more than we've got in the last 5.

I think this trade distinguishes the Colts as the front runner for the division. The scary thing is they have all these guys on rookie contracts, where as we have Schaub, Foster, Dre on the wrong sides of their careers rolling around in money. Texans front office has a lot of work to do

Browns also have an extra 3rd and a 4th, so in a sense, they will own a deep 2014 Draft, but still man, this is insane.

CP... don't use the words Browns, own, and draft in the same sentence ever again.

Remember who you're talking about.
Well, work with me here.

Start with Joe Thomas and Jordan Cameron. OT and TE. Young, solid.

Bridgewater
D'Anthony
Jordan Mathews or Cody Hoffman
OT Jack Newhort
OG Chris Burnette
WR Devin Street
RB Damien Williams

First four rounds only. Seriously, 1 year in, this is your new offense.

Still have Gordon and Bess to either flip or cut, or keep, whatever.

Their front seven is solid on D. Joe Haden is awesome. Spend a little free agent money on another Corner, they aren't too far away from being usable again within a year.

Weeden/Trent/Gordon/Cameron

Bridgewater/D'Anthony/WR/Cameron + filler depth

Trent lasts for 6-7-8 years maybe for a RB. Weeden lasts for another couple, but meh on him anyways.

Bridgewater (or whatever QB they go after) could be a decade long QB. Someone this new regime can coach and build around.

I dunno. I'm sellin myself into for Cleveland. The extra 3-4 helped me soon as I saw that. If it was just 1 extra pick they gained, I'd be harder on them, but the 2014 draft is DEEP on O, and in fact, the 2015 is LOADED at RB, they could take D'Anthony as just a filler/speedy guy, and get a bigger compliment back the year after.
team has a history of not knowing what they **** they doing and you expect it to start now with all that?

Yes Mike, because all GM's are the same.

Lombardi didn't draft Weeden, or Richardson.

He wants to build HIS own roster, but needs picks to do so. So yeah, if he has half a brain, then I assume he will have scouts out every single Saturday this year so that he can stock that team with his guys, his style.

He's not Jerry Jones, he actually might have a clue.

Eh. I still think Weeden is competent

And 30.

Your second year QB, is 30.

Thirty.

2nd year.

Go get a 22 year old QB and build around him, not a 30 year old makin his 17th-32nd starts in the NFL.

Hmmmm, oops. :wow:

Sorry bout that. I'm suddenly wide awake and my productivity here at work seems to have waned.

:wow:    CLEVELAND WHY YOU SO STUPID?!? that move made no sense whatsoever you could've tanked WITH Trent. Now you have him to Indy for a mid first rounder and your next QB will have no weapons at all so you'll still be bad. Man I feel sorry for Browns fans, y'all don't deserve this at all.

I always thought it was a bad move for them drafting a 28 year old QB. By the time this dude gets it (if he ever will) he'll be like 32 or 33. He'll have what 2 or 3 prime years.

The Colts are in a great position right now.

Respect the honesty.

Why is his 3.8 behind Joe Thomas and a bunch of dog **** so unimpressive? Couple that with a rookie QB, he faced 6-8 in the box almost every rush last season. That's impressive for a rookie.

Rick Reilly chimed in on the 'Skins name change...

Good article. It still baffles me that folks are just riding with the offensive-to-native americans assumption. People want to make a stand on something where there's no stand to be made and it's not even the group that's supposedly being degraded by the team name.

Lombardi was a yes man to bill Belichick and Al davis in his biggest front office jobs before the browns. so yeah what history does he have of having a clue?

I'm late to the party....but the Browns traded Trent Richardson to the Colts???

 WTF???!!!

Talk about a COMPLETE botch of 1st round picks last year. What a disaster. :smh:

What I came here to say. Feel like Cleveland at least came out even in this move. At least.

You have to realize that he played on the cleveland browns, he was the only weapon on offensive they had, no passing threat means the defense stacks the box...

As I've always said, it's a few people who have nothing better to do than be offended on behalf of other people. It's dumb.

I think people are overreacting I like Trent be he isn't some god like running back, he has a good nose for the end zone 12 tds in 17 career games, hasn't rushed for a great average, and again will be behind a poor o-line, he should open the play action up for the Colts.

My sentiments exactly. Not sure if you saw it, but 9 people turned out for the name "protest" in Green Bay over the weekend.

There is a media-driven agenda that is being pushed down the throats of everyone.

Browns cleaning house. Sucks for the Texans. Colts gettin' that division.

I had about 7 texts come to me saying this same thing verbatim. You guys are cute  great trade for them though. Dan Gil...Jim Irsay actually made his boa****l claims legit for once

Browns are idiots though, they really could've waved the white flag WITH Richardson

Why is NT censoring the word B O A S T F U L???

Oooooooooooh nvm, THAT'S why
