Reebok was very protective of their brand as well when they had the contract. Not just a Nike thing. When you're spending that kind of money, you don't want any interference from a competitor.

Maybe someone can answer this for me...all the NFL uni's are Nike cuts. However, it seems like (Depending on the team) the actual baggieness (not a word) varies. Giants have extremely tight jerseys...and teams like the Skins, rock theirs a little looser. Anyone know the reason behind this?

Yea I know and understand all that. It just seems crazy to me since it is just the visor clips and they are blacked out. Not like they have colors or something in the "UA" logo or something. Not even wearing wrist/arm bands or something either.

I just thought...does that mean players like Cam and such can't wear their UA cleats as well?

I wonder how bad the guy got chewed out since it looked like someone from forbes.com actually noticed this and not Nike.

each team has a different person who does their alterations, also some players like them tighter then others, also alot of the teams dont have the official nike elite cut, alot teams have the old cut from reebok but they the jerseys are still nike. its a little ocnfusing, but just compare the colts nike elite to the eagles nike elite and you will see what i am talking about.

Nah, I totally get what you're saying....Giants unis are skin tight...makes sense for the D-Line, especially, so guys won't hold. Giants unis are almost like the adidas cut that aTm uses.

Kinda weird that they are still using some of the reebok cuts, but I guess it's a cost-cutting measure.
