WTF is up with the Chargers offensive play calling?  **** is so conservative its ridiculous.  makes no sense when Rivers has looked very good and the running game is pretty sorry.

they lost vs TEN last week because of conservative *** play calling at the end of the game and kicking it back to TEN instead of going for the first down

DT's reference to the two-point embarrassment against the NYG is another damaging display of Matty Ice in the postseason.

Some blame on Smith and Mularkey. But certainly Matty takes a large portion of responsibility for not moving the offense.

:smh: Don't get me started man. Its light and day with the playcalling. Sometimes its brilliant, other times its complete bull. I don't get it either. We stopped bringing pressure on Romo and now he is running train on our secondary.

I think supporting cast is silly argument when really getting into the nitty gritty of evaluating quarterbacks so I'm not going down that road. I have no idea what you're looking for in that sentence though.

1-2..So? And I don't know when...If ever.

651: Simply put, we haven't seen Matty elevate his game to elite status. Atlanta has consistently been a NFC SB contender. Yet got smacked by NYG, Ice outperformed by Rodgers and GB, failed to convert a crucial down against SF most recently. That doesn't spell elite for me, which is why I have Ben and Eli above Ice.

One game for crying out loud.

So it's better to have an meltdown of mostly a season and not make the playoffs then lead your team to the playoffs and play poorly that one game?

We'll do this another day.

But two elite-type runs and mostly average with well below average sprinkled in is not elite. It's not. No way.

You don't get it. Eli and Ben have earned that privilege. Two SB's apiece. It's not just the titles, but the entirety of the postseason run.

It's clear as day Eli and Ben both suffer in 2013 from porous offensive lines. Defensives that are surprisingly weak given their reputations. Limited to no run game. Ben has no chemistry with his OC. Haley was an awful hire.

Matty Ice hasn't earned that right or benefit of the doubt. Neither has Romo. Bottom line. The end.

I personally didn't use the word elite to describe Eli or Ben. I said both are better than Ice and Romo.

Eli and Ben are close to the elite tier which only includes Rodgers, Brees, Peyton, Brady.

:smh: @ "you don't get it"

Let's not get upset because of differing opinions. Jesus, Champ. I get YOUR point just fine. It's not MY way of completely relating to the individual being in a certain tier.

Well then that's fine. I can see the debate there. I was thinking you felt they were elite because of those past successes.
