"And pay dearly for it" Gotta be hell for Schaub walking around Houston right now.

T-Sizzle was making some good points on E:60 last night about how the NFL handled spygate and how they handled the Saints bounty system.

^ had it once like four years ago, and now it's the first thing i ask before ordering a burger. "can you put a fried egg on there?"

 so damn good :pimp:

bacon
cheddar cheese
american cheese
fried egg
bbq sauce
lettuce
sub in a hot link for american cheese

I'll need a quadruple bypass afterwards but so what

Am I the only person that hates hot lettuce? I can only eat it as a salad not on anything cooked/warm

Anyways can any Raider fan provide an update on Reese and TP62?
:smh:

I missed it... what'd he say?

:nerd: :nerd: cliffs?

Basically one team gets a slap on the wrist for video tapping for the Super bowl and another team gets lynched for pay to injure.

i mean we got hit with the biggest and maximum fine in history (to that point), loss of a first round draft pick. that's more than a slap on the wrist. the filming of SB walk through was also alleged, but never proven.

with the focus on safety and health of players...you can see why the saints got nailed like they did.

Saints deserved what they got. I'm personally tired of all the Payton apologists. In any other sport, if a coach paid his players to injure opponents, they'd probably be banned for life.

I'm (not) looking forward to the imminent "Saints Overcoming All Odds" redemption storyline either.

It has nothing to do with spygate , either. Just because the patriots deserved more punishment (they did) doesn't let New Orleans off the hook.

What's a fine to somebody like Robert Kraft?

The 1st rd pick might have hurt them a little but I bet Belichick and Kraft were pretty happy with that punishment.

I understand why Goodell came down so hard on the Saints cuz he has to send the message that he wants to clean up the sport but he still went way overboard.

i mean the fine was the maximum allowed

we're talking like ban them from the game? that's the next step up

Goodell is just doing whatever he can to keep his $9 billion dollar a year cash cow flowing smoothly. If it means suspending a coach for a year and/or burning tapes, then so be it.

 I'm not saying ban 'em. Suspend the coach for a few games and show the tapes. Goodell wanted to give 'em a slap on the wrist and make people forget it ever happened.

600040

Calm down bruh.

showcasing the tapes...i get why we'd want to see them. but they're secretive about a lot of stuff. drug tests...we never find out what a player truly failed a drug test for. i mean, you know it's not adderall every time. so there's some level of consistency there.

but i get it. i know why people want to see the tapes. and i get why people hate the way spygate was handled.
