I should've specificed that he tries hard to be funny, not while being insightful. I appreciate his game knowledge and color, and I feel that, but he's always trying to crack Nessler up with some silly metaphor that's bordering on straight corny. That's how I hear him, at least. He seems to crack himself up and maybe Nessler really does find him funny but I can't help but when I hear him laugh at his own jokes for a solid 2 hours

Cris Collinsworth is another scrub that needs to get booted. He's the worst of the worst.

I could see where you're coming from, mugzbo.

It doesn't bother me much because it's nowhere near as awful as listening to Gruden on MNF.  I recognize his pedigree as a head coach but as a commentator he just comes across as a windbag.  I find myself constantly cringing at the things he says in the booth.

So that's  a clear flag and good call.  Weeden is really playing like garbage though.

Gruden grates on me too.  He and Collinsworth both do this thing where they gush over average players instead of offering interesting criticism or insight.
