Heard a panelist say Romo "looked like Russell Wilson" on the scramble + throw play.

Uhh what? Romo has been making those types of plays since Wilson was in high school. Thats kinda his thing, along with like turning the ball over.

He tried to force that into coverage, that's not his fault?

He balled the whole game but right on schedule when they need him to be smart with the ball he has another Tony Oh No moment.
He threw for 500 yards and 5 TDs.  If your QB does that, throws one pick, and you can't win- it's not on the QB.   How much more could you possible expect from a quarterback?

The team is soft as hell.  I'm convinced everyone blames Romo because the rest of the Cowboys are so invisible on the field that people forget they exist.

Wanted to comment on how the AFC West's domination of the NFC East continued but I can't gloat after how awful Denver played defensively.

No pass rush, DBs getting burnt deep, LBs leaving the middle of the field wide open.  Champ and Von coming back won't magically change this.  That unit has a lot of work to do.

hahaha i said it before it happened in cowboy thread. tony cant have a perfect game

nope. especially if he passes over 35-40 times. Cowboys totally abandoned the running game. i understand they need to pass when your down by double digit points but you still got to keep the defense honest :smh:

Well if Dallas didn't play defense is optional kind of football, that 1 int wouldn't have decided the game. Romo F'ed up but this loss isn't on just him.

Your QB has to have a historically all-time great game, and when he makes one mistake the entire game it's his fault you lose

.  Not the non-existent defense and run game, nooooo....

romo is so inconsistent. the cowboys ALWAYS play up or down to their opponent. it's a shame he'll get ALL the blame in a game where his defense didn't help whatsoever. in the end, he had a chance to make the plays to win, and forced a bad throw into coverage. :smh:

THIS

Dude went toe-to-toe with the God, then he makes one mistake and it's all on him. How 'bout a stop defense?

The game changed when the CB Harris got hurt. The Broncos were pretty much in control until that happened. They do have some work to do though.

Stayed in during my building's fire alarm and might have lost some of my hearing to watch the end of the game. Go Broncos!

LOL ROMO!

Colts are no Joke!!!   Dominated the Niners and now take out one of the scariest teams in the league!

He doesnt get all the blame. But i dont think it can be disputed...

He put his team in position to lose when he didnt have to.

Missed Woodyard and Harris late.
Yes and no.  Dez is who really killed us but he wasn't lining up in the slot which is where CH Jr. plays.  Tony Carter and DRC were the ones getting beat like a drum on the outside.

Woody definitely left a hole though.  By far the best cover guy in the LB corps.

He put his team in position to WIN when no one else showed up to play....

Edit:  Im not even like a Romo fan or anything.  I just think this game is a perfect example of how twisted that logic is...

Jay Gruden has to be on the hot seat one td in two weeks is bad

I don't blame Gruden at all.
If you watch these Bengals games closely you would notice how awful Dalton has been.
His throws are beyond inaccurate. His pocket presence has been horrible.
That's not coaching... thats all him. He's horrible.

most other QBs playing for the cowboys, they lose today by 40. it was a bad decision, but there were a lot of other problems.

the d needs work. this team needs to be balanced. if peyton has an off day the d needs to be able to step up. the d needs to complement the o.

i get that but the cowboys are not scrubs. the d gave up 48 pts before the pick.
Actually, I think the Cowboys might be scrubs...

I mean they are always the same team.  High-scoring finesse offense.  No run game, no o-line, no defense.  Not a winning NFL formula.

All of that is true. Their defense was bad, running game coulda been better and still you can't throw that pass in that situation. I don't care who the QB is, it's a terrible decision but that's what Romo does. :pimp:
