If Goodell really wants to expand, the NFL needs to buy the Arena league, and turn it into NFL Europe

Peyton Manning wants that record.  We have all seen him audible to passing plays at the goal line as opposed to handing it off.  Dude will go out of his way to throw a touchdown before he lets anybody else get the credit

Another guy played deep into the fourth quarter of every game to beat his 49 TD record... so yeah, he wants it back. :nerd:

Anyone who isnt biased will tell you that Peyton's 49 was far more impressive than Tom's 50.  Peyton was routinely sitting out fourth quarters and sat out all but one drive of week 17.  He played ball control offense for a lot of the first 15 games in the the second half.  Meanwhile, Tom and the Pats were running up scores, and throwing bombs downfield to Moss while games were already out of reach.

is that all you got? no just no? aldon is the fastest player EVER to 30 sacks(27 games) and has the most sacks EVER by a player in his first 2 seasons. records he broke that were held by reggie white.
stats don't always tell the whole story. you being a 49ers fan should see justin smith doing the majority of the dirty work. aldon smith then comes in for the sack. at the end of the day the sack goes to aldon but smith did the ground work.

I appreciate Tom and Bill for that, though. Dudes said **** it and slung the **** outta the ball even when they were up 35.

"It’s like I tell the offense, what the (bleep) do you think I send you guys out there for? To punt? We have a punt team for that. That’s not your job. Your job is to go out there and score points. If you come off the field and you haven’t scored points you haven’t done your job.” - Bill B.

running up the score as in 41-9 agains the Lions

or 41-10 against the Bears

51-24 vs the Titans?

49-24 vs the Broncos?

Tom Brady and the Pats did have some amazing *** whoopings under their belt, but lets not act like the Colts werent ******** on teams too

56-10 against the Bills

52-7 against the Skins

38-7 against the Bills

i had moss and brady on my fantasy team that year. lets just say there wasn't much of a challenge to the championship

bottom line, no QB is thrown 49 or 50 TDs by playing "ball control" offense, and not running up the score at times.  Throwing alot of touchdowns = scoring alot of points

 it is what it is

check the second half of our year. when tom broke the record, we won that game by 3.

first half of the season we blew teams out, sure. but games were much closer down the stretch.

at the end of the day....it's equivalent to manning rarely handing off on the goal line.

that's ******* real. wish gary kubiak would take this approach instead of, "oh well we're winning. don't want to show up the opponent"

if they don't like you scoring, it's their job to stop you.

im a Lions fan so this is the only time you will hear this from me but go Bears

i hope Giants dont win a single game all year.

btw hope Marshall kills it
