There's a thread on misc sports forum about this, some miscers from South Dakota know the guy irl. They say he was adopted by a rich family and has gotten into a lot of trouble in the past but his parents usually pay off the victims

seems weird to me that he'd be all intent to play this weekend given this occurrence
