Point is a catastrophic knee or leg injury>>>>>>>> better than a catastrophic head or neck injury.

So I don't know why people keep trying to make this argument. Better to hit the knee than the head, every time.

So Jake Locker is better than RG3 now?Oh.
No but this about who is playing better right now

Obviously in the realm of life in general a head/neck injury is worse than anything.

In the realm of football, a catastrophic injury is a catastrophic injury.

I didn't say I expected Dee Milliner to be a star. I'm just saying he looked decent, didn't expect him to be a lockdown corner but I didn't expect him to be benched and trash.

"ESPN NFL - Brandon Meriweather, suspended for helmet hits, says he'll have to take players' knees out "

WTF?

dumb as it sounds it the truth...thats what the NFL is now. sounds ignorant but now everybody shooting missles below the waiste.

Full quote:

“Everybody got their opinion,” Meriweather said. “He feel like I need to be kicked out of the league? You know, I feel like people who beat their girlfriends should be kicked out the league, too. So, you tell me who you’d rather have: Somebody who play aggressive on the field, or somebody who beat up their girlfriend? You know, everybody got their opinion, so that’s mine, that’s his.”

“To be honest, man, you’ve just got to go low now, man,” Meriweather said. “You’ve got to end people’s careers, you know? You’ve got to tear people’s ACLs and mess up people’s knees now. You can’t hit them high no more. You’ve just got to go low.”

Not the most eloquent way of putting things, but he ETHERED Brandon Marshall and kinda did have a point about going low. This is the NFL that Goodell has created to protect themselves from concussion lawsuits.

I don't agree. If the cost of eliminating head and neck shots is more leg shots , it's obviously not ideal but I think you take that trade off.

Tanne's not horrible when he has time to throw. Actually looks competent and sometimes very solid when he has protection.

The problem is he panics with any type of pressure and looks very chaotic in the pocket.

I'll take the star that beats his girl over the blind safety that knocks himself out on the field more times than his opponents any day.

No I agree with you. I could of explained my point better.

I meant that sounding like you are purposely going to be making an effort to catastrophically hurt someone's knee in football is no better than making an effort to catastrophically hurt someone up high. Obviously one is easier to recover from in life than the other, so I agree with you on the trade off and what I'd rather suffer.

What I meant was seriously hurting someone and potentially taking his career away by crushing his knee into pieces is just as bad in the sense that you're still taking food off of his families table.

Ending someone's lifelong hard work and career by crushing his knee is just as bad as crushing his brain with helmet to helmet hits...career wise. Not life wise. I know that damaging the Central Nervous System is the worst thing possible in life. And I am definitely not saying that it's just as bad as a knee injury.

I'm just saying that financially they're both a blow to him and his family that would be hard to recover from. Both absolutely heart breaking to anyone who is in the league I'm sure.

But of course I'm sure anyone would rather spend the rest of their life recovering from a knee injury than a spinal cord one. I just meant that either way you taking a man who loves the game of football passionately, who has worked their whole life to be in the NFL, out of the league...will crush him no matter how you do it.

Oh yeah for sure. Meriweather for sure looks like a scumbag with those comments.

Brandon Meriweather with the low blow on Brandon Marshall with that comment but at the same time a very effective response as there is NOTHING Marshall can say in response to it.

So did Rolando McClain and Mark Ingram.

McClain can play he's just incredibly stupid
Did you watch any games he played with the Raiders? He sucked dude  Would have a nice hit for every 7/8 blown tackles a game.

I wasn't even trippin' on my Boys takin' that L to hard yesterday until it showed Jim Schwartz conducting himself like the herb he continues to show he is, there's not one coach in the NFL I can't stand more than him.

Still in first place though :pimp:

Men, what we're witnessing is the trials and tribulations of the Cowboys road to the super bowl. :pimp:
