I wouldn't even bring that up, Ches.

It's too much of a context based "stat" to even attempt to break down fully. Which is why I think it's so ridiculous to use to compare QB's to prop one up or push one down.

Considering Cam has won 13 of his last 21 games, I don't know they can even use that against him.

You act like 13-8 is some amazing record.

Is your being a Bucs fan possibly creeping into your assesment here? Just wondering. Cam had a terrible coordinator in Chud last yr, look at his individual numbers from the end of last year into this season and they are quite impressive. No he's not elite but he is probably right now playing as well as any young QB in the NFL not named Russell Wilson.......................or my guy Nickpoleon Dynamite :smokin

Dunno where this race thing is going.

Dont care what color you are, you win, you are alright in my book.

And as much as I hate the Pats, they got robed. But hey they cant complain, they got the biggest gift in NFL history, aka the tuck rule. :nerd:

I never said anything bad about Cam's on field performance. Just said he seems like he's reading off a teleprompter every time he speaks and that 13-8 isn't some amazing record. What about that isn't true?

Next group:

- Cam
- Luck
- Ryan
- Romo
- E. Manning
- Big Ben
- Flacco (Don't actually think he is in this group but I guess the superbowl kind of puts him there for a year at least)

Football people...

Is Steve Smith a hall of famer?

He's my favorite football player ever so I'm biased...

One of my favorites as well but probably not. WR's for whatever reason don't get in very easily. If he could reach 14,000 yards and get a ring though that might be enough to push him over the edge. Right now he is right at 12,000 so those numbers aren't impossible to reach although it'll be hard to do.

818 receptions, 11,964 yards, 66 TDs, 2x All-Pro... ehhhhh... it would be a tough road to make it in with where he's currently sitting.

Love the dude and his game, but there's a grip of WRs with comparable/better stats currently waiting on the hall.

Very good with potential to be a great QB.

There's only 4 elite QBs

Thomas
Manning
A-Rod
Breesus

Yeah.

And I'm a Cam fan, but even now he makes errors. Sailed some balls last night- but he is young and very good already.

I'd slide Russ, Staff & Rivers possibly in there as well. But that's not a bad list at all.

You can definitely make a case for him. He's one of three individuals (Jerry Rice and Sterling Sharpe) to ever pull off the "Triple Crown" in football back in 2005. He pulled off the feat with Jake Delhomme, out of all QBs. We can't dismiss the X-Clown play in 2004, in which Smitty scored on to beat the Rams in double OT. In big time moments, he's been clutch. Team leader in just about all receiving statistics. Pound for pound [and inch for inch], one of the toughest to play the game.

Forgot Rivers...not as high on Russ yet as others are but the argument is there.

I just would like to see Staff without Megatron, it might be a disaster

And Steve Smith would undoubtedly deliver the best HOF speech :pimp:
