Have you changed your buying habits with the league? If not, tough to complain. If you have, welcome to the club! F Roger

Oh I have, bs like what happened Sunday and then last night to a team I can't stand in the patriots has led me to have less interest in the NFL and in turn spend way less on NFL related stuff.

I just don't get it though. What is there to review? This wussifying just sets a bad precedent. Obviously you don't want to hurt players but the current rules take to much away from defensive players. From a defensive perspective it makes sense to make your 15 yard penalty worth it. If their going to call that soft stuff I wouldn't be surprised to see more players go much harder hit wise on the qb to make the hits count.

I like Stafford. Great arm and release. Had some weird issues with his mechanics last year.

Cedric on board. Who's next :smokin

Steelers can randomly pull back to .500 if they take Cleveland this week. Blows my mind

and frankly I think he's the 5th best quarterback in the NFL right now.

LOL.

700

Carolina has gotta be the LAST team the Seahawks want visiting.

-Whats the Legion of Boom gonna do if the Panthers just run it all day?
-Steve Smith will take no crap from Sherman
-And that Panthers D-Line against Seattle's banged up O-Line? :x

There's only one way to find out :nerd:

This Carolina Team reminds me of that yr of The Giants all of a sudden that defense comes up hot enters the wildcard with the winning streak :smokin

- Probably the same thing they did against the vikings
- Steve smith already faced Sherman twice
- Seahawks Oline is healthy now

The team Seatte doesn't want to see in the playoffs is NO. They struggle against receiving backs, but we will see in two weeks when they play

I think Carolina gives Seattle a bigger challenge then New Orleans. New Orleans offense has gotten shut down on the road. Jets game is an example of that.

Its early though. A team like Carolina could be peaking too early for all we know. I'm giving them the benifit of the doubt though.

Seattle is due for a home loss though. If it don't happen in the saints Monday night game then it probably won't happen during the regular season.

I saw an article where Carolina was compared to the Seahawks last year

Great defense with an offense peaking at the right time later in the year...seems like a good comparison to me

Still think Brees is a bigger threat to Seattle than Carolina right now but I wouldnt be surprised to see the Panthers make a run

Brees is definitely a threat but he's far more dangerous in the superdome. If the Seahawks play them at home in a playoff game I would pick the Seahawks.

As a 49er fan. I want a rematch with the saints in the divisional round in the worst way.

Son really just answered all my questions

Wasn't trying to be serious especially with Seattle fans around here

aww. poor guy

Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson can have games where their team wins comfortably and they throw for less than 175 yards.

They have done it this year already versus some really good teams.

If Stafford doesn't throw for 250 and 2 touchdowns the Lions damn near dont have a shot. Probably going to lose by double digits.

The same can be said for Romo. But I highly doubt you, or anyone else, are going to put him right below the elite 4.

But he is what he is and honestly I can see him not winning another playoff game ( if not missing them completely

And this goes back to what I mentioned earlier in terms of the criteria to judge QB's seems to vary depending on the QB.

I agree that Rodgers, Brady, Brees, and Tommy are in a class of their own.

I just thought it was interesting that the way some people on here are defending QB's are some of the same arguments that can and have been used for QB's like Romo.

For the record, I would take Stafford over Romo in the long run simply because as you pointed out, Romo is now 33 while Stafford has [potential] upside with his youth.

There's a gap between the Elite QBs and the good / great QBs of the NFL.

Elite are franchise / generational QBs.

Which im sure we could agree those 4 are,

( Peyton, Thomas, Brees, A-Rod )

Then the gap which I don't think ranking really matter and are subjective.

*thumbs up*

It's been happening since 08. It comes to a point where some people have their opinion on one QB that they love & never transfer it over to other QB's in the exact same situation. Not just the situation with Romo, it happens all over the map.

Then throw in the fact that week to week EVERYTHING changes with rankings and opinions here, it's just a recipe for an argument that goes nowhere.
