Never understood this commercial. Last time I checked, a half of football takes longer than 40 minutes.

Half time 10 minutes

1 quarter = 15 mins

1 quarter X 2 = 30 mins

10 + 30 = 40 mins

Old spice didnt account for stopped time.

40 minutes were spent taking the shower... There were probably halftime adjustments by the coach that they listened to, they had to take clothes/pads off before getting into the shower, they had to put pads and clothes back on after the shower, probably got a cliff bar on the way out... 1-2 minutes in/out of the locker room each way... ... You know that big *** ankle wrap for Peyton had to come off and then get retaped/braced too.

We're talking about a lot more than just the 40 minutes spent in the shower here.

Football is all about playing in outdoor weather through the good conditions and bad, I hate watching games at a dome. Sunny, rain, sleet, snow, fog, it's all great.

Being a North East guy, I hope there is a blizzard.

i'm OK if people don't like the weather games...but football should not be played in a dome. should be played outdoors and if crazy weather conditions occur, they occur. but the dome stuff...no thanks.
