The Houston Texans are a disgrace to the National Football League. How do you lose to the Jaguars not once but twice.

Is it too crazy to think they're actually tanking? I'm not saying anyone knows for sure or not but I feel like everyone likes to talk about it without ever taking anyone seriously by really going through with it. The Texans just set the record for most penalty yards in a single game ever :nerd:

10 minutes after i say this Kubiak gets fired  Not like we didn't see that coming though. They could just be knocking out 2 birds with 1 stone. Tank the season, get top 3 pick, fire coach and start over.

They might be. Schaub took the life outta the team and I think they just said "**** it, let's get ready for next year".

Schaub's pick 6s started the downward spiral, with Kubiak continuing to throw him out there cause that's his guy. A Schaub injury is the only thing that got Case out there, then the defense (secondary in particular) wilted week in and week out, combined with an LB core that is apparently nothing after Cushing. Then also you have the worst RT in the league in Derek Newton. Them natural frustrations builds after losses to teams that you thought were more miserable than you (Jags and Raiders), and you give a lot if fight to the Pats to fool people, lose, then have the Jags bury you again, capped off with a Schaub pick. The tanking wasn't intentional. The only time there was legit quit was in the Rams and Raisers games. They just didn't have the talent they thought they had, and the coaching staff never made it any better. Injuries didn't even matter because the Texans were losing before then. A reset button has never felt better.

Although the biggest reason why I don't think teams have ever actually tanked is because it would be kind of hard to pull off if you were actually set out lose games on purpose. Football is as competitive as it gets and no player has a guaranteed future. Every single player on every single team is looking to try their hardest and to get better so they can not only have more job security but to make more money as well. Management or coaches can't tell their players to do this because why would half of them help out an orginizations cause by doing bad on purpose when they might not even be on the team to move forward with the cause. And there's no doubt someone would open their mouth and issues would insue. If a player came out and said management/coaches told them to tank that would be like shaving points to a different extent. It would go against the code of ethics.

You play to win the game!

We'll just settle with the Texans are pathetic.

With all our QB struggles, Andre still the NFL leader in catches, 2nd in yards, and needs 223 yards in the next 3 games for another 1500 yard season.

The Texans aren't really as bad as their record indicates they have lost 7 straight games by 7 points or less. Meanwhile the Chiefs are 9-3 and aren't as good as their record would indicate.
