On another note the AFC south is brutal, colts lost how many in a row and then they clinch a playoff spot getting washed by the bengals -___- I know the NFC east isn't anything to write home about but imo that division is turning out to be just as bad if not worse

It's worse right now, since the Eagles look like a legit playoff team.  Colts have looked bad every game since Wayne went down.

Jesus you guys are too technical, people were on the 49ers for not beating anyone and losing to good teams. Despite how much they won by, they showed they can beat a tough opponent by playing their game.

Will the beat the Seahawks on the road with that team on top of their game? No.....but they are as good as the rest of the other NFC teams and getting healthier at the right time. And that is with Kaep's inconsistencies.

Seahawks are obviously still the team to beat.

Statement is that the Niners could win against a team with a winning record, beating the number one seed at that, not that difficult to figure out.

Could anybody tell me what this so called statement was?

the statement was both teams held their ground on their home field.

despite a **** hole of an offense the 49ers still beat the seahawks, the nfc's best team something san francisco couldnt do against carolina...

But according to you guys seattle doesn't play good on the road.
so the statment is too you guys. SF can barely beat a bad road team at home?

Lovie isn't dumb enough to go work for Daniel Snyder.  Texans are the best job out there, you get to handpick your own QB and walk into JJ Watt.

Naw its gonna be the Lions

You better hope and pray they fire Schwartz.

I don't think they will though.

If the position becomes available in Dallas, then I'd have to disagree. I think reuniting with Marinelli and Grandpa Kiffin would be the better option over Washington and Houston. Lovie is from the area so I think Washington gets ruled out automatically.

Well you're assuming Garrett is fired, that's far from a given.

Also you'd get more operational control in Houston most likely. If I were a coach I would not want to work for a diva owner like Jerry or Snyder.

None of yall probably remember this but during the Millen days the league recognized how green he was as a GM and offered help via an Advisory Counsil of retired GMs and league execs.

The Lions owner was so offened that he declined the help and offered Millen a 5 year 25 million dollar extension.

You can't make this **** up.

I don't remember that, but that's the kind of thing you hold on to forever as a fan
