I'm convinced that certain professional sports franchises are cursed and destined for failure.

Seeing a potential NFC North title gift wrapped to them due to injuries to Cutler and Rodgers while having a favorable last place schedule and finding a way to screw it up. The lions have to be cursed or something along those lines.

Nah The Deadskins are... DC in general is curesed when it comes to sports

Stafford seems to be emblematic of the way the Lions play as a team.

So much talent, you'll watch him and think there's no way he doesn't elevate to that elite level in a couple years if he isn't knocking on the door already.

Then his mechanics will break down on a throw for no reason, or he'll make a bad decision, or he'll just fail to get it done....  And it will cost them a win.

So GB vs CHI week 17 for the NFC North title (if they both win next week)? Wonder which game will be flexed into NBC. GB/CHI or PHI/DAL
My guess would be Philly and Dallas, no homer. I think it would be a bigger "story" to see a first year head coach head into Jerry World to face Romo and "America's Team" for the NFC East crown.
Unless Dallas loses to the Skins and Philly wins this week.  Then you can bet your **** that it'll be Packers Bears if both win this week.

What time is Cincy v Balt? That could be for the final spot and a division title...

Would love to see Balt win next week just to have the epic finale

True, either way it would be great. My guess is that NBC, and any football fan who does not root for the Cowboys, would like to see them potentially collapse off of a Romo pick.

There's a reason cowboys games are always the highest rated. People love to see them fail.

If it comes down to week 17 for the NFC east title, nbc will def flex that to prime time.

No way they're missing out on those ratings. No way they're missing out on potentially another cowboys collapse on prime time, for the division.

Lions need a new coaching staff badly, someone to coach up Stafford and hold him more accountable when he makes poor decisions

I really think there's been enough NFC East on TV this year, no matter what the "drama". Gets real tiresome to me.

aaron rodgers in the cut like 'soon'. if he gets back i think the packers sneak into the playoffs.

I genuinely believe if the Pack sneaks into the playoffs they're winning it all. I don't know why but I just feel like Godgers is gonna cook especially with Lacy.

Until they run into the 49ers.

Justin tucker may knocked me out of the NT keeper league but he opened a window for the packers. Can't be mad.

I don't agree at all, but I do kind of feel that way about the Ravens. They have the look right now.

I'm totally cool with the amount of stuff Shanny has leaked to me. And it's not about the kid's relationship with the owner. It's about...

...Trying to get the maximum return on a record investment. Someday, Snyder may have to write off Griffin as a huge loss. Doing it now would be crazy

Whoa....

cue up the funkmaster flex bomb noise...

Expecting Rodgers to come back from a collarbone fracture and come out full-force is slightly farfetched imo.

That looming Ravens vs. Broncos match in the 2nd round again :nerd:

Cam or Kap dont want it in Lambeau if we get in.

The 49ers play defense. I could see them going into Lambeau and getting the W

It would most likely be drew instead of cam though. The drew brees era saints have never had a road win against a real good team and I don't see them getting there first one on Sunday. If Green Bay were to play New Orleans wild card weekend that game is all Green Bay.

Packers are a sleeping giant though. Both Detroit and Chicago had numerous chances to pull away from Green Bay while Rodgers was out but couldn't. If that pack bears game is for the division regardless if its in Chicago, does anyone aside from bears fans have any real confidence that Chicago can pull that win out?
