Robert Griffin's dad was asking Snyder to hire the coach from Baylor???

Wow if his dad really did that especially while shannahan is still the coach. He needs to fall back and leave personel decisions to the actual team. I was hearing that he was in the lockerroom with the team as well.

His father needs to fall waaaaayyy back. It would surprise me if this story was true, RG2 has already put himself out there. He's not doing his son any good by tryna get involved with the organization. He's just adding to the mess.

My issue is not with bell.. My issue is with Tomlin saying "it was an easy decision for me"

Why is this an issue for you? I'm actually confused why this would be an issue for anyone at all.

"It was an easy decision for me," Tomlin said Tuesday at his weekly news conference. "Obviously, Lacy's a top-quality back, but probably it's a matter of preference -- just like I'm sure Cincinnati went through the same discussions and thoughts when they took Giovani Bernard in front of both of them."

1. Coach-speak

And/or

2. Personal preference/bias

What am I missing that makes this an "issue?" Not trying to point fingers, but I feel like this is ESPN's agenda seeping into too many brains.

I think it was unnecessarily dismissive.. These guys know how much what they say is going to be repeated.. He could have very easily just said we are happy with our guy

Have you guys seen some of the stuff that's been reported.. That his dad was in the lockerroom before games stretching out rg3 at Baylor...

Of course the dad wants the Baylor coach if he allowed stuff like that to go down

DI don't think Art Briles is leaving Baylor. Didn't he sign like a 10 yr extension not too long ago. I know this really doesn't mean much but I'd like to think he would give them at least 3-4 yrs before heading elsewhere.

Texas sounds more likely than the Skins job would be for him

If Mathis could have played strong side all these years (without Freeney), is he the GOAT?
