Better not do anything stupid.

I think it's a smoke screen too. I'm just excited that with this traditional 3-4 we're going to, the Texans will no doubt get the NTthick nose tackle they've been needing for....12 years now

And yes, the Rams need to be washing their hands of Bradford. He's exactly what's stalling them out.

if anything we need to be hyping up one of these quarterbacks, and hope someone trades us something stupid laugh.gif

i'm looking at you cleveland.

His accuracy is what I like the most about him. He's always been hurt by WR's with butterfingers but he's also struggled with it before. I think he took a good step forward in '12/part of '13 with the timing and placement.

I think if he had a developed deep threat, like Austin showed he could be, he'd trust the deep ball a little more. Givens/Amendola burned him a bit.

A friend of mine is a big Rams fan out in Missouri and he's always claimed he's had trust issues with em but IDK about that.

His contract is the big problem.  If they were to cut him this season, they save a huge cap hit.  To me he has a chance to be a fine NFL player, but his ceiling is Matt Schaub/Alex Smith (at their best) range.  And his floor could be far, far lower.

It's tough because you're right that he hasn't had great weapons.  More importantly he's had some terrible coordinators- McDaniels, Brian Schottenheimer...  That said, he's still so wildly inconsistent for someone who's been in the league this long.  And he's not a great athlete or a great decision-maker.

Is this sarcasm? Because having "the most loyal fan base in all of the NFL" didn't stop them from moving to Baltimore...

That had nothing to do with the fanbase laugh.gif that was strictly greed and anguish displayed by Art Model....and the reason why the team came back so quickly (4 years) was because of the team-history and fanbase loyalty, jack.

I wouldn't say Chip "spurned" them, and if they thought that then they were stupid to think he was actually coming there and not having a good backup plan.

Chip sure as hell spurned the Bucs though and had us randomly panic-hire Schiano.

Ugh...just hearing the words "Schiano" and "Raheem" make me cringe every time.

Maybe that's who I was thinking...But I know the Browns were very interested in Chip and was almost waiting for him.

Giants hire Macadoo as OC.

I thought Bradford was a free agent this summer? Still not sure what I think of him. He's had new coaches almost every year and not a lot of talent.

From reddit-

If the Pats win on Sunday, they will have reached the Super Bowl in 50% of all seasons where Brady starts.

:eek

So what's that...Like 45% of the seasons Belichick coached? He's the reason.

Oh.

Team went 10-6?

Oh.

7 win drop off (11-5)
had the easiest schedule (NFC West and AFC West which at the time were tomato can games)
missed the playoffs

yeah...no drop off in performance roll.gif

and i don't care if you have brady at 5, 2, or 10. but to say the pats did fine without brady just cause they went 11-5 is asinine. you need to look at more than the record. full context.

It was 11-5? I was thinking it was 11-5 but then I was thinking how the hell does a team miss the playoffs at 11-5?!

You hear almost every year that NE as one of the easiest schedules though. This is common.

think back to those two divisions, plus the AFC East, in 2008. laughable.

But a random QB coming in and starting for a team going 11-5 doesn't say anything? How often does a team lose a starter and the team is done? This season said a lot about BB and his coaching.

If Peyton had three rings out of five visits and Brady had one out of two visits, would this even be a debate?
