Generally speaking, I agree with that, dmx. I just think this whole lack of offense thing is overblown to a degree (not that it isn't somewhat warranted, we do need to pick it up), and Vegas may in fact be of the same mindset. But overall, I do see it being a close, physical game (that I wouldn't bet on if I were a neutral fan lol), and with the two hottest teams in the league going at it again, I can at least say the line indicates those same beliefs.

Cams ability makes up for the lack of talent at WR no doubt.

It's just heart breaking to see Cam step up in the pocket / avoid the rush, launch a ball 50 yards and watch a wide open Ted Ginn drop a TD

Wow really....I guess Jerry Jones and his money really does have alot of pull.  Obviously this move is all about Goodell and wanting to pull in more revenue however.  This dude has really been bad for the league since he took over.

Why not just add 16 teams and make it best of 7 while their at it

Honestly I would take more regular season games over an extra wild card. Playoffs are perfect as is.

New OT rules are excellent, the first to score nonsense with needing a FG to win has always been flawed.

So how does it work? Only the number 1 seed gets a Bye?

Sounds about right. Flawed structure though. Why bother playing for a 2 seed if you don't get a bye. The last few weeks we could see teams sitting starters a la Kansas City to prep for the playoffs and "create" a bye. Or worse, positioning themselves to play the teams they think they'd match up better with.

On DP's report that a Wild Card team will be added in each conference, NFL says no decision made. Would have to be voted on by owners...
To this point it hasn't been presented to them. Of course, it could be at May meeting. DP may have inside info that enough votes are there

As soon as the Packers dropped that INT my uncle said the 49ers are going to march down the field and score. That was their chance to get the ball within the 40 yard line of the 49ers and just run the clock out and kick to win. Then not to mention that almost blocked field goal.
