While brees and ARod are elite QBs and no doubt HOFers I don't think they are in the same class as PM / TB for the most part.

Not entirely sure either, I look at Peyton and Tom and I see possibly the Goats of the game, we've seen Peyton break record after after record and put up video game numbers all while being the entire coaching staff on a team, in all honestly, he prob doesn't need an HC / OC.

And I look at Tom and I see someone who's done it with so many different offensive philosophy's and still be great, not to mention the post season success.

I think what hurts Aaron is those first few years of sitting in the sense we possibly didn't get to see it all, think about it, he's already 31, his Oline play has been shakey he last few years, didn't really have a runnin game and no that defense is shakey as well. HoFer? Yeap, best QB today, possibly, goat? Nah.

As for Brees, those first few years were solid in SD, he comes to NOLA and puts up some ridiculous numbers, but then Last year you see the absense of Sean, and now you think... is it the man? Or is I both? Granted he's a HoFer, but same class as Tom and Peyton? I just don't see it.

It's like the other dudes in the Hall, where their in there cause of their numbers and fame at the time when they were playing, but their names don't come with the same weight as other players.

Through 16 games Drew Brees has had better numbers than Brady this year . I think that Brees is more coach-dependent than Brady and Manning but Drew deserves to be mentioned. AR im not so sure.

Aaron Rodgers is in the same class IMO

So AR gets a pass for getting knocked off in the first round at home ? Hes not in the same class. Hes probably the best QB in the league ATM but he hasnt reached legend status anywhere else outside of Wisconsin .

Tom Brady is 36 and Aaron is 30; look at the Packers without Rodgers this year

He played great against the 49ers; he can't go out there and play LB too

AR just turned 30, though.

I agree he's not in the same class w/ Peyton or Tom right now, but I'm pretty sure he will be when he's done.

Plus, Brady slays a super model who makes more paper than him.

AR slays men. And puts them on the payroll . Not that theres anything wrong with that.

He better hurry up and make it to 3 or 4 more SBs then. The clock is ticking and QBs like Kaep and RW wont make it easy.

Just to reiterate how much more of a boss Brady is than AR. But hey those State Farm commercials are pretty funny. Amirite?

pretty sure any successful NFL QB could lock down a supermodel

Andrew Luck looks like Encino Man and he could pull 11's

If I was starting a franchise in 2014 and I could take any QB it's gonna be Aaron Rodgers

Bad joke attempt there. For all of the people saying he is on PM/TB's level, when do the playoff losses begin to really mount as criticism then? I know it isn't necessarily his fault but that never stopped the Peyton playoff slander

I just find it interesting that those two (AR/DB) seem to be immune from the 'not enough playoff wins/SB wins' argument. We can discuss in QB thread if necessary

Love getting to the 2nd weekend of games, Sat afternoon- Sunday always has good football on.

Peyton was good once he won one; it was a few years later when he took early exits in the playoffs

If Rodgers doesn't make a run in the next two years then I think the slander begins but he just turned 30 and already has one in the bag

Is what it is... There's plays and throws that AR makes on the regular basis that Tom and Peyton have never made in their careers.  Thats a fact.

But if you don't wanna acknowledge that "hes on their level" then ok, not a big deal... All things equal I'm still picking my guy to be behind center though.

I would too. But for one season im taking Tom. Fam, Aaron is somewhere golfing right now. TB12 is in all likelihood going to another CCG with no defense . JE is his leading wideout. Thats amazing. AR is doing nothing of the sort.

I think Tom is probably the 2nd best QB to ever play the game; maybe 1st but Aaron Rodgers is on his level and could be better when it's all said and done

It's not fair to compare him to Peyton (37), Brees (35 on Tues) or Brady (36) right now because they are from a different era of QB's

London doing whatever it takes to stay in the good graces of the Diplomats front office. Can't knock the hustle.

 this guy....

One of the most respected guys in the league from day 1, but somehow he's doing whatever it takes to stay in the good graces of the Skins. Riiiiiiight....

Rodgers makes some surreal throws hes just so talented. He has the swagger and the arm strength. He makes difficult throws look easy. He is also mobile too in pocket. HE IS A BADDD MAN.

We are truly blessed to witness these future Hall of Famers play.

until i see QBs do what Brady has done in terms of having a solid offense year after year with moving pieces and often times dudes no one else wanted , i cant say anyone is on his level . he wills the team to win in a way i dont see from Brees , Peyton , or Rodgers . when the going gets tough for Patriots in a game , you just have a feeling they'll be in it with a minute left . theres something to be said that besides the AFC championship last year the pats have not lost by more than one score in THREE YEARS

Luck has that quality in him though , and time will tell what his legacy will be
