Also (like it was pointed out), if there was such a divide, his teammates wouldn't have voted him captain. Simple as that.
 
I'm born and raised in NC and I don't give a damn about him and I don't know anybody who does. Must be a Charlotte metro area thing.

This makes me want to dig up that "Packers fans sitting in the cold supporting their team" post from last week.

Always a chance. Nothing is handed out or gauranteed.

I think he's been receiving a pass for his recent playoff losses since that SB because he won that Super Bowl so soon after taking over for Favre. He also won an MVP in there. He starts to suffer a gap like Brady has and he probably starts to get more scrutiny. He already seems to be molding into a somewhat villian-type character.

As far as him not being on the level of Peyton and Brady....Bologne. Rodgers is every bit as good, if not better than those two from strictly a quarterback-playing standpoint. It all just goes back to the team around him and his own unique circumstances.

Rodgers gets a pass because the Packers team hasn't been all that great lately.  They haven't had anything near a complete team since winning the Super Bowl.

Lots of fingers to be pointed at Mike McCarthy, Dom Capers, and even Ted Thompson before Rodgers.

Not to mention the Clay Matthews of the world.

Just like in any situation, I do believe that the truth will eventually rise to the top, especially regarding this matter and who was on the right side and who wasn't.

I can't remember anything recently where two teams had such great LB's having their teams face eachother in the playoffs. In fact, there's seldomly more than one team that has such a great and complete group of LB's, let alone two teams.

I am not downplaying the Panthers LB corps in the slightest bit....but their group as a whole definitely is not in the same league as the Niners.
 
I don't think so either dland, but it's still one of the best "matchups" you'll find right now. I think as whole the front 7's is where it becomes much more interesting.
