I'm not knocking the Browns it just seems like they can't get it together. Honestly, as a Browns' fan, how do you enjoy football? Aside from watching other great matchups like this weekend?

I didn't even know Gase was in the running for a job. Was hoping he and Knapp would stick around to help develop Osweiler.

The Browns are good for the NFL. I like them. They're just in a dismal stretch right now.
Hope it continues forever.

Keep JFB away from them.

Manziel, Bortles, & Bridgewater should pull an Eli and let it be known that they will not play for the Browns

I honestly just love the AFC North, I hope it remains unchanged forever. I think geographically, it's perfect. I can drive to the Ravens, Bengals or Steelers stadium and get there in 5 hours or less and watch my team play in a an opposing stadium.

The Browns, Bengals, Steelers and Ravens are 4 of the toughest coldest-weather teams to play in the league. And the NFC North as well. :smokin

How are they good for the NFL ?

Not being sarcastic or anything.

They have tremendous support from their fans and once they're competitive again, they will rekindle and begin some pretty stellar rivalries within their division. vs. Steelers and then the in-state battle with Cincinnati and then their old self in Baltimore. Those who remember when the Browns were good would probably appreciate those rivalries be not so lopsided anymore. They have rich history and there's a reason they got a team back.

Cle needs a coach and a QB. They have a good team, especially when the AFC is mad weak right now.

They already hired a coach specifically based on his work with a young high-pick QB, gave him Brandon Weeden & Jason Campbell, decided to tank, then fired him before actually drafting a new QB for him to work with....

Yeah Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron are nice, but the organization is scary.

Sean McVay officially announced as the ******** offensive coordinator. 27 years old...good for him.

They also have two first-rounders too. QB and WR with an RB in the 2nd and suddenly they could have an above-average offense to go with that very good defense.

The defense has talent but it's not "very good" as of yet.  It's above average, with the potential to be very good, but it fell apart down the stretch.  They badly need a #2 CB I believe, and have a couple other holes.

Has Krueger done much after getting that big payday?

Far from a guarantee when you talk about no coach.

As soon as they started talking about Josh McDaniels, I stopped believing in Mike Lombardi.

Ok.."above-average" then. Goodness.

Point is, winning is a cure all. They made the right choice with Richardson and probably felt Chud was a mistake. Instead of letting the situation linger, they said screw it and felt starting over again would be better in the long run. It's very conceivable. Chud wasn't anything special anyway.
