I don't claim to know what's "gone on between them in the past." Even so, what has that got to do with anything as far as post-game interviews and decorum goes?

Like I said in my earlier post, trash talking is perfectly fine on the field of contest. But after the game, when you're conducting a professional interview? Really, way to act like professional?

His team has secured the W, and he's--I assume--played a fine game.

Your team is going to the Superbowl, while your rival team and arch-nemesis (Crabtree) sits at home; is that NOT ENOUGH of a declarative statement? Have you not made your point by then?

Like I said, corny and wholly unnecessary.

The irony is, given his actions, it's super obvious that he's the one with a thin skin. He's clearly butt hurt over something (perhaps between him and C.Tree) given his incessant petulant behavior...

Anyway, I'm done. I've invested too many key strokes on a guy I care little about. I'll be looking forward to those super bowl commercials, above anything else...

...
I see where you're coming from for sure! Like someone said earlier in the thread though when alot of trash talk goes down on the field, before the game, on twitter from what i

heard Ctree was talk alot before the game.

Sherman being able to make a play to end the game and effectively send us to the Super bowl over the guy whose been talking smack prior... it just feels good man.

Even in a pick up game hahaha you know those dudes who are always running there damn mouths and you have an opportunity to send them home whether it be a game of 21 or anything.

I just think as long as you aren't saying anything racist its free game....

And to anyone who says I'm saying that because I'm a Hawks fan.... I would feel the same if hypothetically Kaepernick was able to pull off the come back and went wild post game!

If you can ball out then talk all you want and say what you will! You deserve it

good game yall, great plays by both teams. but on a side note this really pissed me off, saw the replay on TV too

:smh:

But Seahawks are the thugs

Oh please, he had no idea he was going there, there's nothing dirty there at all. What is dirty is Seahawk fans throwing stuff at Bowman when he was being carted off.

Okay so your calling a guy not dressed up to play, on the sideline, CLOTHESLINING a player on purpose when hes running towards the punt returner not dirty???

 if you think he clotheslined him...he didn't even see him coming. You can see him looking surprised after he got him.
If this happened when he was pulling a Mike Tomlin the story would be completely different and I'd def agree with you, but he was well out of bounds and running hard, on the 49ers' sideline. You're bound to run into something/someone if you're that far out of bounds.

Most likely Sherman will be guarding Demaryius Thomas. When you compare Thomas' humble personality with Sherman's abrasive and pugnacious ratchet mentality, it's a no brainer who to root for.

A little irritating when people act like Seattle hasn't seen anything like Peyton. They did a fine job against Drew Brees twice. Not saying they'll shut Peyton down by any means, but they'll come to play ball.

I see them bottling up Knowshon just like they did Gore today and them establishing the run against a much more weak Denver defense compared to SF's.

Seattle hasn't seen ANYTHING like Denver's receiving corps. You think Seattle has answers for all them weapons?? Keep dreaming

You're either trolling or purposely blind to the facts. Numbers don't lie when it comes to Seattle's defense. Them being the #1 unit in the league means absolutely nothing now? Foolishness....

Who's trolling? What you just wrote goes both ways. Numbers don't lie when it comes to Denver's offense. Do I even need to recite records that were set by Denver this yr?? Please name a single offense as deep as Denver's that Seattle has shut down....I'll wait

 CLEARLY feeling yourself a little too much, man. Once you take the blinders off, we can engage in a productive conversation. I'm very aware of what Denver has done and can do, but you're predicting them to steamroll Seattle OUTDOORS in not so friendly conditions? Do you, brotha, and good luck in 2 weeks.

So because Denver set records and have the #1 offense you automatically discredit the #1 defense? Tell me a team that Denver has played that had a defense like Seattle?

KC was top three... and they were beaten twice by Denver. Easily if I may add

Still waiting for someone to list an offense that comes close to Denver's that Seattle's Legion of Boom (LOL) has shut down. And please don't mention Brees and co again. Comparing them with Denver is hilarious.

If Manning goes to work in the SB and some how Sherman gets beat on a play or 2 the media, twitter, and the universe will back fire on him

He is a good player

But you can tell what he is doin is out of his character. He is not being his self. When Michael Irvin or Deion or Randy talked trashed it came off natural. With Sherman its like he is forcing it too much and I think thats what rubs people the wrong way.

He needs to take the Revis approach with his success and remain humble it fits his character more

I'm not sure at all how you came to this conclusion that that isn't Sherman's character. There's nothing I've seen, nor heard, nor read that leads me to believe otherwise.

Richard Sherman talked trash. He's a professional athlete in a violent contact sport, that is what they do. The same people that are claiming Sherman has no class are the same ones who told Johnathan Martin to suck it up, this is a sport for tough men. Double standard much?
If you want quiet, well-behaved players, watch golf.

Had to tweet this fam. Best post in the last few pages!

I dont agree with a lot of what Timid Tebow says, but in not mad at this.

Denver is the greatest offense ever, we get it.

Note to self, it just takes one bad game to lose the Superbowl. Seattles defense and rushing attack is amazing. If they force a turnover or two that could decide the game.

cold weather favors them as well

Seattle's O does leave something to be desired (especially the WR corps), plus they're not the same team when they're not playing at home. Those are a few factors that go against them.
