CBS will air eight early-season games that also will be simulcast on NFL Network. NFL Network also will televise eight late-season games in the run-up to the playoffs. The mix of games will include 14 on Thursday nights and two late-season games on Saturday.
The full slate of 16 regular-season games will be produced by CBS with its lead broadcasters and production team, including Jim Nantz and Phil Simms, on all Thursday night games. In a new twist, NFL Network hosts and analysts will be featured in the pregame, halftime and postgame shows along with CBS Sports announcers.

-looks like Nessler and Mayock are out all together for commentating, I actually thought they were pretty good.

Mayock is amazing. Probably my favorite football analyst on tv. I watch NFL network draft coverage solely because of him. He needs to be on tv as much as possible.

he's awful with his draft analysis

check out his love for blaine gabbert

not that any of those guys is that great.

i don't mind him on TNF though...he's not bad there

We all make mistakes. I thought Trent Richardson was going to be Marshawn Lynch lite. He's closer to Lawrence Phillips than he is Lynch.

:smh:

Ryan Clark not bad as a host on NFL Live.

I was just telling somebody this. He made a great point about why he is getting into television a while back. Saying that with the NFL getting serious about concussions, that defensive backs his size are going to fizzled out of the league sooner rather than later. Being that conerbacks his size do whatever they can to tackle someone, but the NFL is slowly changing rules to go away from letting that happen. Saying that the secondary of the Seattle Seahawks (6'3 215lbs) is what the league is going to. The days of the (5'10 to 6'0 170 to 195 lbs) defensive backs are going away.

Belly and Manning did Pebble Beach today

Clark is always well spoken and has great points. Love watching him play as well, big part of that precious success

Yeah, I said during the game I thought Chancellor was the MVP. I still think he's the best player in that secondary.

I like Clark on his random spots on ESPN. He seems like he'll make a good analyst

Watching this Hawks ceremony right now... this ******g needs to happen for the Jets in my lifetime :frown: .
