Richard Sherman talked trash. He's a professional athlete in a violent contact sport, that is what they do. The same people that are claiming Sherman has no class are the same ones who told Johnathan Martin to suck it up, this is a sport for tough men. Double standard much?

If you want quiet, well-behaved players, watch golf.

Shockey would go off from time to time

I witnessed Sean Taylor live in Tally taunting Chris Rix and company almost every down

Hester 1st game as freshman returned the openeing kick for a TD against the Gators and took his helmet off and ran down the sideline causing a penalty

its way more but these are the things I can remember off top

Lol naa man you see these are different these are in game things like celebrating and **** like that. But that kick return by Hester still gives me the chills.

That's so corny...

See, I could and would totally give him a pass on his Erin Andrews "outburst" because I believe he was legitimately caught up in the moment, but this right here is inexcusable and pathetic.

The game has long been decided, and you're still being that brash? Dude needs to grow the eff up.

Leave that nonsense on the field of competition, and comport yourself respectably when the game is over.

**I am a fan of neither team. In fact I didn't even watch the game. Thus my comments are made from the standpoint of an objective and impartial spectator.

...
He cant say what he wants? How do you know what has been going on between them in the past? IMO if he can back up his words with his play then do and speak as you please! some people in here have some thing thin skin man

I thought Sherman was hilarious. He talked because he got it done and when asked about Peyton Manning and the Broncos all he had to say is what a good team they were. He wants to play the bad guy and he's successful. I'd also agree that he is one of the top corners in the league.

If Manning goes to work in the SB and some how Sherman gets beat on a play or 2 the media, twitter, and the universe will back fire on him

He is a good player

But you can tell what he is doin is out of his character. He is not being his self. When Michael Irvin or Deion or Randy talked trashed it came off natural. With Sherman its like he is forcing it too much and I think thats what rubs people the wrong way.

He needs to take the Revis approach with his success and remain humble it fits his character more

I don't claim to know what's "gone on between them in the past." Even so, what has that got to do with anything as far as post-game interviews and decorum goes?

Like I said in my earlier post, trash talking is perfectly fine on the field of contest. But after the game, when you're conducting a professional interview? Really, way to act like professional?

His team has secured the W, and he's--I assume--played a fine game.

Your team is going to the Superbowl, while your rival team and arch-nemesis (Crabtree) sits at home; is that NOT ENOUGH of a declarative statement? Have you not made your point by then?

Like I said, corny and wholly unnecessary.

The irony is, given his actions, it's super obvious that he's the one with a thin skin. He's clearly butt hurt over something (perhaps between him and C.Tree) given his incessant petulant behavior...

Anyway, I'm done. I've invested too many key strokes on a guy I care little about. I'll be looking forward to those super bowl commercials, above anything else...
