not hating but i always assumed players stayed in gated communities or something

That's my hope MMG.
If I were the GM I would go best defensive player available. Best LB available, Nix or even Dennard. They're in the NFCN after all and Rhodes and Dennard will help against Rodgers, Stafford, Cutler. Those two CB's have the Vikings looking like the Seahawks of the midwest.
I'm so worried they reach at #8 for a quarterback. Teddy or Johnny or none at all. Would LOVE Mettenberger in the 2nd and just a notch below that, I feel the same about McCarron.

Don't like the reach. Not at all. I don't have much on Bortles, but from what I did get to see in his bowl game...he was decent. Probably not a fair evaluation, but this team has sooo many holes on D and with Zimmer coming in, we need personnel. Outdoor for two years...They need a damn defense. I feel like they can get by with even just Cassel at Q, if they can quickly build a sturdy defense.

I am worried about the same thing too bro, that we reach for a QB at the 8 spot especially if Bridgewater or Johnny are gone. Me personally, i would draft CJ Mosley at the 8th spot.
