The more and more I look at it, it feels as if Amy Adams has been miscast as Lois Lane. Doesn't help that she's almost 10 years older than Supes himself. Its like she got the part as a mulligan due to being passed over in favor of Bosworth who was downright awful.

Kate Bosworth was a P.O.S as Lois Lane so I dot think Amy Adams could be that bad. Plus she's way easier on the eyes...grrrrrrrr

It was never going to happen but I would have like to see Welling as Superman. As long as the show was on we really never saw him don the cape until the final episode.

i wanted this too at first but Cavill craps all over Welling when it comes to superman its not even close

I don't think Welling will transform well into a big screen Superman and definitely isn't the type Snyder was looking for.
Also keep in mind that Cavill was also in the running for Superman Returns and they picked Routh (Cavill should be very thankful) so he was probably locked in as Superman for a while. Dude was also a contender with Craig for the role James Bond and still would like to take that role after Craig so he is just destined to be in the spotlight sooner or later. He really does look perfect right now but we'll have to see how his acting is in the film.

Well he isn't going to take over Craig anytime soon, he said after Craig is done. Craig is already 45 and after 2-3 more Bond films, he'd be easily over 50 and a new face will have to take over eventually and Cavill said he'd want to be that guy.
