This is Zack. Hope he gets the credit.
Nolan's been saying this is Synder's movie, but come on dude, you got Nolan and his crew producing and writing with Zimmer on the soundtrack.  Synder will get his due, but don't act like this movie would be the same without Nolan on-board...

I doubt Synder's trippin either, this is the perfect set-up for him...great production team, great writing from Nolan & Goyer.
Synder then does what he knows...creating awesome set pieces and amazing action sequences, a win-win for everybody imo

I'd also add "For Tomorrow" and "Last Son" to that list as well for their different featured portrayals of Zod...

But I would personally place "Superman for all seasons" as the number one comic to get you prepared for MOS, with it's theme not only revolving around Clark's identity and acceptance, but also what his presence on Earth means to the people around him.

-Plus it also happens to be my favorite Superman comic of all time

I do like and agree with what he said about Superman's portrayal in TDKR though, and how it basically helped (falsely) define the character in a lot of people's minds, especially casuals who don't necessarily read Superman or DC avidly. As I've said on here before, my main hope for this film is that it can finally start to change the overall perception of Supes from "Oh, he's just too powerful to be interesting"  into someone more relatable  -and judging by the reception so far, from the trailers alone, it seems to be doing so.

I still can't picture Christian Bale or JGL as batman in this type of universe. It looks really grand scale like...................................when the chitauri came runnin bat-ish in NY. >D

I'm really excited about MoS especially since iron man 3 almost made me throw up but if DC is throwing all their chips in this one they better be ready to shock the viewers because mark ruffalo turning into hulk at will and punching a leviathan in the nose is better than the whole of TDK and TDKR. Movie magic man

Wife told me watching this movie is my father's day gift. I get to go with or without her if we can't find a sitter. I love that woman.

What, Zack already had very nice produced films. 300, Warchmen, dawn of the dead. All excellent movies.
Nolan was probably just used for the name.

I can't like When Mark turned Hulk and hit that thing :wow:
Better then breaking the Bat.

If you consider that scene a proper representation of "breaking the bat" than knightfall would be ashamed. I'm not even a DC fan saying so I know you don't consider TDKR even remotely accurate as far as the way it was portrayed. That whole scene looked like power rangers were fighting and batman gets his back broken only for it to be fixed by some hobo in a jail cell....now I'm having panic attacks all over again from this. Smh........but I will say that bane's dialogue throughout the whole movie and in that scene particular is beautiful! Lol
