Great win today. 15 PA the D.. My boy Brooks making up for his mistakes (VA stand up!)and a late stand by the D. and offense already looking better than last year.

Thought the offense play calling got too conservative in late 3rd/early 4th but overall nice to see them mixing it up.

Alex Smith played pretty well....defense came up huge when they needed it most. Fun game to watch with the fam and friends.

Defense looked real solid. Gore had a good game and so did Alex. It was nice to see Moss get a TD also. :pimp: I'm sure they will target him more as the season goes on.

Great start to the season.
 
solid, solid win, especially knowing how green bay has been a thorn in the 49ers side time and time again since 95 with the exception of the T.O playoff game.

the defense came to play, held em in check and was all over them.

i'm lookin forward to being at the game next week.

quick question for any bay area/ san francisco heads, have you seen any spots selling the new nike 49ers authentics? i want to get a vernon davis jersey when im out there. i figured the sports store on fishermans wharff or niketown might have them but any suggestions on a store that has the new nike authentics would be appreciated.

Our D didn't look to impressive, but hey, its the first game, a win is a win. More importantly it took 22 years to get a W in Lambeau, BUT WE GOT IT.

How did the D not look impressive? :lol: They went into Lambeau and held the Packers in check. They weren't great in the 4th but they were playing one of the best offenses in the league. Rodgers numbers look solid, but he didn't have a great game. Our D got good pressure on him and we didn't allow the Packers to have too many YAC. Could the D play better? Sure, but considering it was the first game of the year in one of the toughest places to play against one of the best teams in football, I would say they were pretty impressive.
