Tough loss although it was a great game. As long as the foundation remains intact the 49ers will have a few more opportunities to win SBs.

Last year: Lost in NFC title game
This year: Won NFC title game, lost in SB
Next year: ...

Point is compared to the crappy teams we've endured the last ten years, I'd much rather have a team in this spot. They'll be just fine. It's a tough loss but they definitely have what it takes to be serious contenders for the next ten years.

Well this sucks, another long 6 months...

Three things:
1) Tackling was horrendous
2) First half we were nowhere to be found... That fumble was huge
3) That last goal line possession was horrible on all sides

Really need to put these draft picks to fill in the holes this team has. Everybody is going to blame James, but this team should've never fell down as far as they did.

It hurts...

A lot.

On to the next one I guess. I don't see anyone in the NFL stepping to us but Seattle. Let's get back here again and get a W. I really hope it happens in my lifetime.

I'm not blaming LMJ. That was a loss and he turned it into a big gain sans the fumble.

KR coverage was terrible for one play. I knew that would be huge.

Defense clamped in the 2nd half like I expected. They gave up 6 points, would've been 0 if not for Boldin.

Gore was balling out, why didn't he get the ball that last possession?

Culliver...this was not his week

Whitner...got picked on the entire first half.

It's tough fellas. There is no consolation for a loss this painful. Why must it be this way?

Why was I, a 28 going on 29 year old man, tearing up after this game was over?

Why do I love this team so damn much?

Glad we didn't fold.

Why didnt we run on third down?

Why do I have this feeling that play we were going to run when we almost got hit with the delay, but coach called time, was going to score that touchdown?

i wouldn't blame LaMichael.

i am however, very concerned when Vernon and Crabtree run with the ball after the catch. it's just flailing about in stride with them.

thats what i'm saying, offbad. every time they were running with the ball, i was shouting to just ******g go to the ground. stop fighting for those extra yards if you're carrying the ball so recklessly

This is going to hurt for a while..
the 2ndary needs to be re-done. Weakest part of the defense and its huge!
Colin played well, might be early but i believe hes a top QB in the league.

2 weeks to prepare...and how was the playcalling so ******g bad? smfh.

1st play of the game..and you get flagged for it? really? c'mon son.

Brown is the only DB I have faith in in coverage.

Also need an heir to Justin Smith.

Whitner was awful this year. Will he return?

What to do with Alex? Cut him? Trade?

Raider and Charger fans stay talking that BS.. YALL TEAMS DIDN'T EVEN MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. SMH :smh:

i'm saying it wasn't even like false start that you can attribute to nerves, it was freaking illegal formation. just basic, basic lining up.

also felt like Kaepernick was too bashful about tucking it in and ripping off yardage with his legs. couple times i'm pretty sure i saw man coverage and he just looked for the completion or took the sack.

among the many other things the 49ers didn't do well...
