The way I see it the experiment of him and Yao being a dynmaic 1 & 2 combo like Shaq & Kobe isnt and will never happen.Houston right now is playingbetter as a team without him.The guy seriously has never impressed me and I continue to think he's a lazy offense minded only player. If I were HoustonI'd try making a deal happen with the Nets to get Jason Kidd & Richard Jefferson for him.

Check out this quote:

According to Chris McCosky of The Detroit News: "The topic of Tracy McGrady came up in the Pistons' locker room before a game last week. McGrady is now injured and unhappy in Houston. Reports there say he has told friends he wants to be traded -- again. One player, who shall remain nameless, joked that McGrady was becoming more and more like his cousin, Vince Carter. "They should call Tracy, 'half-man, half a season,'" the player cracked.
They should call Tracy, 'half-man, half a season,'" the player cracked.

We wont trade him because no team would give the Rockets equal value in return (The Nets would never give up J-Kidd and RJ). However, if Tmac actually tellsthe Rockets he wants to be traded, then It will get done eventually, but he hasn't done that yet (we don't think).

edit:

"Do it Mitch!"

equal value? what value doee he have? he doesnt even play half the time. I dont think anyone is gonna give up too much to get him just for him to play 20games.

^Well thats the problem, not many people view him as a player who will dominate at will anymore, he plays very lethargic at times. But the Rockets would wanta good player in return, and what team is going to give up a good player up for Tmac, when he would just complain where ever he goes, unless it is a contendingteam, but how many contenders are going to trade away someone for Tmac which would possibly disrupt team chemistry.

68.3 games played per season
34.9 minutes per game over 10 year career

Rockets won't get anything close to T-Mac in return. Think player to help you now and a draft pick to help you later and one expiring contract.

That said...

Dear 76ers,

blah blah blah blah Andre Miller.

blah blah blah blah T-Mac.

Sincerely,

Rockets GM

send him to sac for Ron Artest. You know Adleman would love have him ha ha. Seriously though, It makes sense Artest could be a beast for them and McGrady whenhe plays, would actually give the kings a legitimate scoring option to go along with Martin.

Ron + Bibby, and it's a done deal.

I did the trade machine.

Ron + Bibby + Garcia for T-Mac + Mike James

Let Francis come off the books after this year, groom Aaron Brooks for the future, and if worst comes to worst, let Bibby and Ron come off the books in 2years.

Does T-Mac have a no trade clause or the power to veto a trade like Kobe does?

If I'm not mistaken I think Kobe & KG are the only current players with a no trade clause or power to veto a trade.

trade him to the bobcats for j-rich and another player who's salary will match....MJ just needs to get to the playoffs and T-Mac will get him to the 1stround, and that's it..

If humongo contract and declining abilities counts as a no trade clause, then yea...

Sasha Vujacic+Kwame Brown+Chris Mihm+Vlademir Radmonovic should do it...

I actually have no idea if those salaries work out or anything at all
