The Suns shot 20-31 from beyond the arc and apparently George Karl thought that his team's lack of any perimeter defense had absolutely nothing to dowith that stat.

Co-sign. Championship teams don't finish in the Bottom 5 in Rebounding Margin year after year. You can get away with playing suspect D and still beatplayoff teams, but you have to rebound... you can't allow your opponent to get drastically more possessions than you.

The Suns are 2nd to last in Rebounding Margin, they get outrebounded by an average of 5.4 boards per game. Mainly because the Suns give up the mostoffensive rebounds to their opponents in the entire NBA, while at the same time ranking dead last in grabbing their own offensive boards.

The Suns are not a championship caliber team. The Nuggets can actually play a grind it out defensive game. They displayed that last year against the Spurs.They just did not execute on the offensive end. The Suns just tried to run and up down the court like they usually do and always end up a hair short everyyear. Juan Baller made a good point about rebounding too. They did have a hot shooting touch tonight. Let's be serious though, you'll more likely tosee Scottie Pippen win MVP for the 08 season than seeing that type of shooting we saw tonight.

he doesnt seem as mad as when the lakers squashed the suns and dantoni was acting like phil jackson violated his mother....

I thought Karl's comments sounded kinda familiar

Maybe D'Antoni should of told Karl "What the f's wrong with you!" and "go sit down!".
