It was time....this was a tough season for Gibbs (grandson's leukemia) and everything else that went on with the team....I'll chime in later, but itwas nice having Gibbs back for the 2nd time...

anyways...

no surprise.

and i think Cowher would be a damn good fit. the Skins' strengths fit perfectly into his style of coaching. Snyder would have throw a lot of money at himto lure him away from that cushy pre-game job, but that's nothing new for him

I'm surprised. He always said he would honor his 5 year contract. But I won't knock him, he leaves this team with good future.

Coach Williams for HC..Blache at DC..just please keep Saunders.

Gibbs went through alot especially this season.

Yeah, I really dont blame Gibbs for leaving. He went through alot this year.

Best of luck to him.

It will either be Gregg Williams getting it, so everything can stay intact OR if something crazy happens, because of the strife G.W. brings to the table, itcould blow alot of things up...but then again, they could keep Al Saunders on and find another Defensive Coordinator.

Thats the question... but I think The Danny has good Options now....so neither the O or D schemes change.

I wouldn't be upset with either GW or Cowher...you would think that GW would handle his coaching duties a little better than his stint in Buffalo. Cowhermay be saying that he wants another year off, but money talks. Snyder has the type of cash to easily sway his decision. It's sad to see a legend/icon go,but after all that he went through this season, I can't blame him. This Skins team was in shambles before Gibbs arrived. He leaves with the team in bettershape than what it was before.

Props to a great career for Mr Gibbs. I know it was a tough year all the way around for him and his staff.

I told you dudes that Gibbs was gone at the end of the year. Just like I said that Cowher would be getting looked at for the head coaching job. Although GWhas been waiting in the wings for the spot, I think Snyder is going to go for the big fish and try and get Cowher just to keep Skins fans happy with a big namecoaching coming to town. I wish Coach Joe all the best.

Much props to Coach Gibbs. Like many other ******* fans have been saying Williams should get the job. I dont think you bring in anyone new right now. In plusWilliams has earned it and deserves

but it was nice having Gibbs back for the 2nd time...

why? what has dude done besides 9-7 and below seasons. Why do people give credit where its not due. Washington been tryin to get over the humpsince forever. i mean they have an ok team but as far as winning goes(the 2nd time around) i dont think he'll be missed

Boys to the bowl!!

I don't think you understand how bad it was with Norv and Spurrier.

) then lost the reg season game

I think the skins will be better off if they leave greg williams at DC and look elsewhere for a head coach. The ******** D is pretty good right now and Iwouldn't want to make any coaching moves that would hinder them

IMO, GW won't stay to be a DC anymore. From hearing his interviews during this season, He really wants to be a HC again.

Gregg Williams or Bill Cowher. Doesn't matter to me. Hopefully Gregg Williams will stay as the defensive coordinator. I wouldn't knock him if hedecides to pursue a head coaching career though.

he should be good. what is unfortunate is that j.campbell will have to learn another offensive scheme.
