NT!

Since I have been in college, the majority of the time I either order take-out or just go to a restaurant. I no longer have a meal plan and I was thinking ofways to budget and still have a decent meal. This is the meal plan I have set for myself:

Morning - Nutrition Bar / Power Bar
Lunch - Banana (In between classes)
Dinner - Ramen Noodles

This is on a budget. I am trying to not to spend so much anymore like I have in the past. I am trying to get into eating healthy. If you guys have bettersuggestions, that would be wonderful. Thanks ahead of time.

You're going to be miserable. Just exercise and eat somewhat healthy...try and avoid late night eating...and you'll be fine.

Yeah seems like your goin overboard with your meal plan. As long as you burn more calories then you take in, your good. Take a half-hour out of your day to gojogging, it's all about exercise. As long as you're not lazy, ull be fine.

your meals combined is what i eat for snack but ramen noodles arent healthy for you...tons of sodium....idk dude seems like ur lost

If you want to budget, get fresh produce from your grocery store. Your modified "meal plan" looks pathetic....on some Kate Moss steez....On top ofthe fresh produce, you can get fruits as well, coupled with a 24-36 pack of water (or buy a gallon). Eating out all the time is ridiculously expensive. It willkill your pockets, especially in college. I don't know your living arrangements, but if you have a fridge and a stove, you should be all set.

Some things you can get:

-Fruits
-Veggies
-Deli Meat
-Wheat Bread (or anything w. whole grains)
-Water
-Chicken/Turkey cutlets
-Jello
-Granola

etc etc....

Eating too little isn't good for you either. For me, it's hard to eat healthy in college as well, but the main thing is to make sure to eat someveggies in your diet, and DONT snack late night so often, it's super tempting to do it but i've heard eating late at night actually makes u gain moreweight than if you eat during the day or something. i do it anyway, hence i'm not the skinniest dude in the world

Does your living space have a kitchen?

Why did you skip the meal plan? Their food isn't the best, but they do have a lot of those healthy things like a salad bar and fruit that can carry you.

Your meal plan is going to leave you very hungry my friend. The human body needs calories. Balanced nutrition is critical to keeping your mind and body readyand able to perform in the classroom.

EDIT: FYI. Using Costco, I was able to create the $1.76 daily breakfast that consisted of one 2-egg omlette with spinach and feta cheese, one slice of toast, and one :nerd:z glass of fresh squeezed orange juice.

I've also created the the $1.89 daily lunch that consists of :nerd:z frozen fruit medley, and one 12oz roast beef, cheddar, tomato, lettuce, spicy mustardwrap.

I've started and stopped generating this menu so many times. I don't know why I haven't just finished it. I was creating the $8 daily food planfor men.

Ramen Noodles for dinner is not a good choice. like stated earlier, they're packed with sodium. in college I survived off of canned tuna. its cheap, storeswell, and is loaded with goodness.

boiled eggs (just eat the whites), wheat bread sandwiches, salads, fruits

I'm on my way to to get some chicken breasts, wheat bread, turkey, cheese, cereal, fat-free milk and some fruits

^more details would be appreciated to help you more i can give u the best possible meals...ur smart for not getting a meal plan bc the food sucks.

Yeah. I figured I can have a better meal without having to pay so much for it.

More details? What do you mean?

I do have kitchen and refrigerator. I can make meals but I rather make meals that can provide me with a simply clean up. That's what I am trying to takeinto consideration thus far.

Hold up....You don't want to clean up?!?!? Epitome of laziness. Good luck with the diet...

Did I say I didn't want to clean up? Please re-read my statement. I said, a simply clean up. I want to reduce time spent in the kitchen so I have a moretime for school work.

If you can't find time to do school work and clean up in the kitchen then you don't know how to manage your time.
