As for Anthony's statement, as long as Jason Kidd is still in the league, he's the best.

Like I said above Paul is the future and my PG pick to start a franchise around, but as of today Kidd > Nash..... not even because of the triple double hype.... he can defend better, he can rebound, also he is as good a passer.... Nash makes the player's in PHX look better than they are, but the system also makes Nash look better than he is...

Nash has never been to the Finals. Also NJ doesn't have players that fit well together like PHX does. PHX clearly has better players as well as betterbigmen. Don't forget NJ was starting Jason Collins until recently

They also have VC (who's basically a better version of RJ), and Lawrence Frankrunning the show..... Kidd is confined to a half court offense where VC or RJ isolate and start chucking up shot after shot..... Not to mention the EasternConference is much improved....

How is he better than paul? Paul shoots a better percentage, avg. .4 assists less than kid, Leads the league in steals, scores more points, shoots 10%higher avg. He plays in the west on a team of "nobody's" compared to Kidd and his team still has more wins.
 
imo ill have to go with nash then kidd and then CP3 or D. williams, but CP3 is having a hell of a season so he might have the edge.
 
My homie from the tre-fo is always talking about CP and we had an arguement the other day about if he was the best pg or not. I still got some others ahead ofhim, but thats bc of playoffs,, if cp continues his play and excels in the playoffs it would be hard to argue.

Perfect rankings. I agree as well. Paul is THAT dude and made meeven MORE of a believer when he schooled Baron in OUR house.
 
This is not a stupid statement but Jason Kidd is the best pg in the league.

Last year the analysts were all over Deron Williams. I never thought that Williams was a better pg than Paul.

Its almost like ESPN analysts are trained to ride a bandwagon.

I'm not really focusing on the stats obviously. Just reading the numbers doesn't tell you who's the best.
 
I think Williams is overall better than Paul. I know its about 50/50 when ppl talk about the two, but i do admit cp3 is having the better season thisyear...but lets not forget what williams did in the playoffs last year...he torched the spurs like no one else did. Plus cp3 has the ball and is expected to doeverything for that team....williams isnt demanded to take over as much cause he has playmakers on his team so it can be spread out, so of course paul willhave better stats he has to do most of the work, i really do believe thats the only reason paul is doing better than williams this year. and i know im prollygoing to take heat for this but o well its my opinion...
