I remember seeing this dude in High School at a tourney and he was only 7'1 then...now he's 7'9 with shoes on...I can't believe no one has madea topic about this yet...I'm looking for some video of his game tonight against UNC, including the one where Hansbrough dunked on him...but here's acouple video's I did find and article link here

Dude doesn't even have to jump to dunk

WHAT THE HELL? I have never heard or seen aything on this kid.

How old is he? Where is he playing now?

Well, when you hit that size...its impossible to have any game or athletic ability pretty much

if you watched him at all last year and compared it to this year, he made good steps as a player. touch didnt look horrible tonight. dont look at the numbersbecause it takes him a good 9 seconds to get down the floor, but if you see him play, he changes almost every shot. which is his main purpose.

yall realize the conditioning is a factor..kinda limited in what he can do.

I like how everyone thinks they'd dominate if they were a 7 + footer. Especially at that size.

I'm sure it is incredibly difficult.. also, when a kid like that probably doesn't even like bball that much, just playin because of his size

how did that not get called? he took four steps before he jumped. four. it was impressive yes but four steps?

I live in Asheville and the paper and news stations always hype this kid up like he's some all american

Well put...and when I saw dude play in high school it was like his 2nd year playing ever...but I'd rather have dude on my team in college other than about half of the 7 footers in CB...dude really alters EVERY shot
7'7'', but who's counting.
Ha...but thats without shoes...I never understood why "experts" and "scouts" measure height in shoes and without shoes...the players only play in shoes so who cares if they are 6'2 without shoes and 6'5 with them

For real, dude is GREATLY improved from last year. Last year it seemed liked they just found him somewhere and threw a jersey on him and gave him a pair ofsneaks and said go. He was actually a presence inside tonight and showed some skill moves. He just can't really keep up with the pace of a collegebasketball game, not to mention the speed that UNC plays with.

damn! hes gotta have a pretty hard life being that big. especially if he doesnt even like basketball all that much. it must be a b to get up and down the court

he should work on his game though, he could make some big bucks getting to the NBA

also, this dude could DEFINATELY touch the top of the backboard!!
