The way it should be.
Yes sir. I'm a huge Korver fan. Heady pickup by the Jazz, he's gonna thrive in Utah.

This Jazz team is scary. But man, I woulda liked Dee Brown as backup PG a hella lot better than Jason Hart.

A sean marks sighting! Jason Hart is god awful. Why did they pick this bum up? Dee Brown was better than this clown

Man, I love watching the Suns play, but damn, they just look lost out there without Nash.

nbadotcom, when Nash scheduled to come back?

All those people that were FURIOUS when Nash won back-to-back MVPs needs to watch this team play without him running the offense.

It's borderlinepathetic. Barbosa can't set up and distribute within that system. Marcus Banks is terrible... If Steve Nash goes down for any extended period of time, theSuns are FINISHED.

Wait, when the hell did Korver get traded to Utah?!

Really the Suns don't have anyone to blame but themselves, their stupid coach won't play more than 7 players with any significant consistency, plustheir owner is too cheap to pay the luxury tax even if it means improving their team. I hate PHX, but it is kinda sad watching all of this talent being wasted.

wow suns sucking this season
hmmm don't we have the best record in the west? 3rd in the nba.

the funniest thing on tonight's game was when barbosa tried to act like steve nash... he threw a behind the back pass to amare off a pick and roll and wentin the crowd.

when the hell is diaw getting traded?

Oh and one more note, now you guys know why Steve Nash was MVP twice.

Like two weeks ago; Giricek and a first.

He scored 107 points in his first game with the Jazz; I'm shocked you didn't hear about it.

I hadn't heard a single word about Kyle Korver all damn season. Granted, I haven't been paying as much attention as I usually do...But heseems like a good fit for Utah, and I'm always glad to see anyone even remotely tolerable get out of that hell hole Philadelphia...

Any team that loses their best player is not going to be in good shape. That's pretty obvious.

Steve Nash was the MVP two years in a row because his team lost by 30 tonight?

That's quite the interesting, craptastic argument.

Take LeBron off the Cavs last year. Forget the Finals, would they even make the playoffs? Guess he should have been MVP.

Take Kobe off the Lakers and Kidd off the Nets. You think those teams would lose ONE GAME by 30? Yes, they would have. So I guess they should have been MVPs aswell.

If the Suns had a sub-par starting PG (like D-Fish) and he was gone, along with Matrix, it would be reasonable to expect the team to fail, and to failmiserably.

Calm down using one blowout to back up your boy's undeserving honor of being in the company of Magic, Jordan, and Bird.

come on Dirk you can say that about most Superstar from each team

Obviously there are a few other players that have that kind of effect on their teams, but if Garnett went down in Boston, would they keep theirheads above water while he was out? Yes.
Dirk in Dallas? Yes.
Duncan in San Antonio? Yes.
Billups, Rasheed or Rip in Detroit? Yes.

Most every legitimate championship contender could at least keep their heads above water if their best player went out for a certain period of time. NotPhoenix. They look like hell damn near every time Steve Nash misses a game. Sure, Kobe, LeBron and a couple others have that same effect on their teams, butSteve Nash is undeniably in that group of guys that their teams simply cannot survive without for an extended stretch of time.

Ska is right on one point - you can't really judge someone's deserving of MVP or not based on one game. Especially one in which the team waswithout 3/5 of its starting lineup. Take away three starters from ANY basketball team and 99% of the time that team will lose.

But where your argument is flawed, Ska, is when you make this comment:

Calm down using one blowout to back up your boy's undeserving honor of being in the company of Magic, Jordan, and Bird.
Nash WAS, in fact, deserving of his MVP awards. He was the most the most valuable player in those given seasons. You can not compare his seasonsto those that won MVP awards in the past. One has nothing to do with the others. Nash didn't win his MVP awards in years when Magic, Jordan, or Bird wereplaying. He won them in years in which Fakers SG#24, LeBroom James, and others that would never hold Magic, Jordan, and Bird's jockstraps were playing.
Just like you can't make the argument that Nash didn't deserve the MVP because Jason Kidd didn't win one in the years he took the Nets to theFinals...it has nothing to do with previous winners. All that matters is his performance against others that same year...and Nash outplayed them all.

I didn't even bother watching this game when I found out that Trix was out. Without Hill, ok we could have won. Without Nash and Hill, it was extremelydoubtful, but without Nash, Hill AND Matrix, we had no chance in hell. I just hope Trix and Steve are healthy on Saturday...although the Bucks aren'treally much of a team...but without 3 starters we could even lose that game.

I know, I know.

That was just a little closing line to the reply which was mainly made to make the 'one night' argument.

I mean, I don't personally think he deserved back-to-back, but I'm not mad at the fact that he has them. I think Kidd should have gotten one during hisback-to-back Finals trips, but that has zero to do with Nash.

OK thanks for clearing that up. I was hoping that you actually didn't base your opinion of Nash's MVPs on previous winners. If you think someoneelse deserved it those years based on their own performances, that's fine...you're entitled to your opinion...but if you think "Nash shouldn'thave won two MVP's because ( insert historical player here) didn't win two MVP's...well then, your logic would be as twisted as your choice offavorite NBA team.
