Is there ever defense played at an all star game?

I know it was a poorly attempted jab at the Suns, but it wasn't really effective, considering the fact that there is never defense in an all star gameregardless of the site.

And the theme should continue like that for every host team's city or state.
 
It took the NBA 14 years to bring it back to PHX....I imagine how long itll take for the ASG to come back to NY. We had it at 1998.
 
Yeah those were some pretty sweet unis. I liked the cactus on the shorts

I heard that they were trying to get the ASG in Toronto around 2010-2011. Somewhere around there.
 
i'm glad New Orleans is getting it this year...they did a good job with the BCS....and the food was incredible.

When will Portland EVER get one? The NBA has over looked us a lot. Especially when the Rose Garden was built back in the mid to late 90's and wewere selling out every game they still didnt give us one. Portland holds the record for most consecutive sellouts.

off topic, but i remember going to the NHL all star game in boston. i wanna say it was in 96. That was fun as hell.

the baseball all star game in '99 was one of the best too.



what i'm gettin at is, BRING THE ASG TO BOSTON!
 
C'mon Maloof brothers, u already got the game in Vegas....now get a new arena and bring it home to Sactown!
 
Portland, and Miami should get an ASG before Dallas get's another one.

Kings, and Warriors would probably have to get a new state of the art arena, before the ASG comes calling.
