The official LBJ IV review Post !!!

Maybe Eastbay's 27.1 oz weight wasn't wrong after all...

I tried them on today.
they didn't feel THAT heavy.

But they're solid and they fit like a glove. The inner sleeve feels very comfortable, i noticed the heel was a bit roomy though.

Cushioning felt firm for a zoom air shoe and you could tell it was articulated/regionalized.

3.5 lbs for a pair is 28 ounces per shoe, which isn't THAT bad for a size 13...The weights given for shoes are usualy for a size 10. They may be heavy, but they are certainly not unplayable and are worth the extra weight. If a coulple of ounces is too hard for you to handle, the last thing you should be worrying about is your shoes...

shoes crease unless your foot doesnt bend at the toes when you walk ... it will crease but not as crazily as leather and not as fast.

I finally tried on a pair today at the store I work at. I would agree that you should go down a 1/2 size. They're just alittle too roomy. They were very comfortable and the weight really wasn't an issue.

honestly. the number difference may be a lot for you guys. but when you try it on, it becomes less of an issue.

These are definitely not guard shoes. They're HEAVY.

i dont see why any real baller would want these, unless they want to get beat on defense everytime down the floor

^ What in the world do shoes have to do with getting beat on D? You lost me on that one.
Oh yeah, real ballers don't get beat on D. Just thought I'd remind you of that. SMH ! :smh:

man these lebrons have the love-hate thing going on, just liek all sig shoes. the thing is that it's made for lebron, and the consumer can accept it or leave it.

Very hard to get the suckers on. But when its on it fits like a GLOVE. Great cushion, very very soft, unlike any other zoom air shoe i own. They feel great!!! They are very stiff so it may take some time for them to break in and feel 100%, but for my first impression this seems like its gonna be a solid B-BALL shoe. They did feel a little big thoe, so ima opt for a 1/2 size smaller.

thanks for the review man. i seen these at the store on display and i held it and tossed it around a bit and it was a bit heavy. but i love the style and grip and strap so i called up my homie and told him to order from pys. but luckily he hasnt yet. b/c yall just changed my mind.

so these are heavy on feet? i cant stand a heavy basketball shoe. makes me feel fat and something is pulling my on a break. i hoop in my 2k5's rite now, so that transistion prolly wouldnt be good to these. sounds like it really isnt a GUARD shoe, since im small frame also. nice revie though. but if the price ever dropped. mite have to cop for the heck of it.

^^^ Lebron isnt a guard. This isn't supposed to be a guard shoe.
The Lebron 3's weren't a guard shoe, they focused more on protection of the foot.

No Lebron has been a guard shoe since the AZG

any athlete should be able to handle these shoes. if you play sports regularly your legs should be strong enough. like, i see lil 5'9 PGs play in lebron 3s and they are till fast as hell, shoes dont affect your game at all. when im playin,i dont even think about my shoes.

I balled in them today. I really liked the way they felt. I think I needed to break them in a little bit more, my arches were hurting a little. But that happens to me with alot of basketball shoes. The weight wasn't really an issue. A great basketball shoe and an awesome shoe to just chill in. Let me put it this way, since I got them on Friday, I've worn them at least one time each day and I plan on wearing them tommorow!

^^ That does not apply to every single individual in the world.
I regulary play the ball, but a heavy shoe bothers me.
A heavy shoe always bothered me when my ankle was healthier and stronger.

its all mental, your mind should be on the game, not how heavy your kicks are. i dotn even have time to think about my kicks during a game.

^^ PuH-lease!!!
After playing the ball with wearing a heavy shoe, I got a pain.
A heavy shoe really bothers me.
NOT DURING THE GAME!
You can express your opinion, but do not act like that you know everything.

Played my first full pace game today and these shoes are great in my opinion out perfrom the II's and III's both which I played in. The IV's have awesome ankle support, Im a bigger guy 6'2" 210 and couldnt ask for a better shoe. My only concern is stopping to quickly, I came to a stop so quick that I almost fell over. As far as creasing I have played in these about 4 times and there is slight creasing in the white lower half on the outside of the foot. Ohh btw the weight to me was not an issue

these shoes are pretty nice. i picked up a pair today and it's like 360 degrees of plush. weight isn't really a problem for me. great traction, feels kinda low to the ground. only issue is the zoom baggies feel like they bottom out.
