I didn't see anyone post this (but if posted already, then lock)

basically it was said on the radio here in NY (Mike and the Mad Dog 660 am)

Marbury and a player/ pick for T-mac

personally, i don't think the trade would help the knicks at all..

Are you kidding? It would be terrible for the Rockets.
True story.

What does Marbury bring to the table for the Rockets?

ANOTHER point guard. No thanks.

Please Rockets. Make this deal...

It's a terrible trade for Houston, but it honestly doesn't make New York that much better, IMO.

but it doesn't really help the knicks much either lol

The Knicks can't do possibly worse with T-Mac, than they currently are doing without him.

Doesn't Marbury's contract end after next season? Not exactly the worst trade, they basically decided the T-Mac/Yao experiment is over, so might aswell clear some payroll and get some players for Yao after next season.

As for the Knicks, how does this help them? Knicks will have too much individual talent with no defense.

^^^^ mez you're right
Francessa seemed pretty confident on the information he heard(that none of us heard). He said it was TMac and a filler for Marbury and a player/pick(Guessing Balkman). Marburys contract ends next year, while TMac has an extra year then Steph. Mike said the reasoning behind Houston is so they can shed the salary, and move a year quicker into surrounding the team around Yao.
from a poster at realgm knicks

Imagine Z-Bo, Curry, and T-Mac on the floor at the same time? 2 pairs of D cup breasts and a catfish....all of whom can't play defense for a lick....notenough shots to go around.... all these trades speculated by the NY media are almost always one sided...the only alluring thing is Marbury's contract isexpiring...I don't see this deal getting done

Thing with T-Mac though, he can actually create plays.

Which in turn, helps create easier/better shots for his opponents.

It's much ado about nothing, anyway.

T-Mac is probably going to be back in action tomorrow night for the Rockets.

Houston did their part while he was away. (6-2)

With T-Mac back, hopefully it's smooth sailing from here.

I like T-Mac, he's one of my favorite players in the league, but it would be a waste bringing him here because the Knicks don't have the properpersonnel to be successful. With the exception of the young guys (Balkman, Lee, Nate, Crawford, etc) and Malik Rose (a player who plays his role)......alleverybody else does is take shots away from the rest of the players.

Why can't the Knicks just let contracts expire?

Bring that softie here so
a) he gives up that undeserved all-star spot to my dude A.I.
b) he just decides to quit basketball all together.

I really don't like this dude.

@ this trade.

The Rockets better not make this deal.

Man, these are some wack rumors.

Might as well trade T-Mac for Theo Ratliff or Wally Sczerbiak since they have contracts that make Calvin Booth and Jim McIllvaine shake their heads in shame.

Only way this wouldn't be a god-awful trade for the Rockets would be if the Knicks gave up an unprotected draft pick, and David Lee as well.
