who's the best lb in a 3-4?

i say its D.Ware,he could cover,stop the run,and get the QB

but maybe because i am a cowboys fan

Mr. McFloppy is a smart man.....but is anybody else tired of these best player at (LB,DT,& etc.) threads?

Very much so. That is why you have to start arguments in them, get people riled up for no good reason, then stop posting. Makes for fun times!
 
Merriman's up side as a pash rusher is greater than Ware's ability to cover. Ware isnt even the best LB on his team that honor goes to Bobby Carpenter.

I think you've gotta be more specific, since the inside and the outside are so different in the 3-4 defense... i'll leave it at that. this is a prettyspecific question though considering there aren't that many teams running the 3-4.. seems like somebody just trying to pat their favorite player on theback in disguise or something
